Ryuko's sigh at Mako's mess could only be described as fond as she kicked aside a bit of debris. Good to know she was still the same old Mako, no matter how confusing things were.
"Huh? Oh, yeah," she said to the radio hosts, "I'm already way stronger than a normal person. You know that crater in the middle of the park? I did that yesterday. I'm way stronger when I activate Senketsu, though."
She patted the eye on her shoulder in explanation, "I guess technically you could say he's just armor, but he does make me a lot stronger, too. And can apparently fly? I don't remember that part."
I say that aloud too sometimes, just: "man, no life."

Hm. Everyone agrees, then? I expected at least some argument.
"Well, it means I didn't embarrass myself," Julius mumbled.
He then looked up at the rest of the group. "We should probably head to the mansion and see what everyone there thinks. If we're all in agreement, we make a plan, then pack up and hit the road." An image of the storm cloud flashed through his mind, and he frowned. "Preferably sooner than later."
And if the others don't agree?
"If we're not all in agreement...um..." Julius suddenly looked somewhat embarrassed, ducking his head down. "I-I didn't think that far...actually..."
You're quite the strange one.
"Huh?"
You've been switching between knowing what you're doing and your typical uselessness since you got here. Why are you doing that?
"Oh...um..." Julius hesitated. "I-I really have no answer..."
"Kept me waiting, haven’t you? Tch. No matter. Dawdle all you’d like. In the end, your defeat remains inevitable."
Oji Household
“...Please be careful, Oni.”
“I will, Jo-...I will, mom.”
“I would lend you all my car if I...had one...”
“...Maybe...I have something...”
Gohan heads outside, looking to the skies. He’s deep in thought again.
“...Okay, dad. Let’s see if everything I remember is true. Nimbus!”
...Nothing happens. Gohan looks dejected for a few seconds before his gaze sharpens. The boy cups his hands around his mouth and yells again at the top of his lungs.
“FLYING NIMBUS!”
From beyond the horizon, a small yellow cloud flies towards the house leaving an almost golden trail. It stops right in front of Gohan, almost like it’s loyally awaiting something.
“It’s real...!”
Gohan jumps aboard the cloud, his weight somehow being supported.

Kaito arrived at the Study and looked around. A staff in the wall, the Dragon Ball that Gohan just put in his pocket, Julius saying that they actually needed seven Dragon Balls, and Nelle's ghosting issues from the past. Also, apparently, according Julius' words, Nelle's old name used to be Spinel, just like the Black Prince's Ruby, the biggest gem in the Crown Jewels of the UK. Kaito had some quick visions about having seen the Jewels.
When Julius suggested a road trip and the other kids followed, with Vito saying he would be glad to drive, he sighed. He, like "Joy" Oji, didn't have a license or knew how to drive, and thus, didn't have a car.
"I could walk... or maybe speed out there in an eddy. At least it's not the tornado it destroyed part of Ryuko's house..." He replies to Vito, and then turns to Julius. "Kid. Don't worry. Everything will be ok."
Outside of Oji Household
Kaito stepped out of the house and saw Gohan yelling some stuff, and then, suddenly, a small golden cloud had appeared like a loyal puppy and Gohan had jumped aboard.
He stared a while, amazed over the cloud. Then, he asked:
"Isn't that a Kinto'un, or Sommersault Cloud like the one Son Goku uses in the old novel Saiyuki?"

Julius blinked, then smiled just a bit at Kaito. "I-I'll believe you..."
He's lying.
"I can still believe him."
He followed Gohan and Kaito outside. Gohan shouted out to the sky for...something, and then—
"Woah!" he gasped, watching as a small golden cloud zipped over from the horizon and stopped in front of Gohan, who jumped aboard...somehow. Julius headed over, eyes shining with wonder.
"You have a magic cloud? That's so cool! Can you ride around on it? You could use it to fly! Oh, that sounds like so much fun! Can the rest of us fly? I really want to give flying a go and—"
Julius. We are in the middle of something.
Julius blinked. Then, he swallowed and backed away. "I-I'm sorry for bothering you, I'll just..." His face flushed, and he looked down, quickly heading in the direction of the mansion.
"Kept me waiting, haven’t you? Tch. No matter. Dawdle all you’d like. In the end, your defeat remains inevitable."

"Well, it surely depends from how many seats your car has got.", Spinel approached Vito at the kitchen. "I think there are some people who can keep up with the others with their own means of movement, like Ryuko, that Frohman guy and that Chandra chick and her crew.", she thoughtfully listed.
"Oh! And it's "Spinel" now; Not Nelle. Memory stuff happened!", she whispered to him before going outside the household.
She then saw Gohan summon the Flying Nimbus.
"Oooh! What a surprise!", the girl in pink beamed. "Is there space for more? I want to see how it feels to be atop that golden cloud of yours...", she asked with a slight giggle.

"Well, my car can hold four people typically. It's a fast and well-maintained ride but we may need to do a convoy. Looking at all these other options, I think we might be able to pull this off though. Alright, who's going to ride with me and who's got their own ride?"
Vito immediately walked over to his house to grab the car keys and immediately returned with his 2000 Ford Mustang GT.
"Are Ryuko and the others going with us too? We can't leave them behind! Let's head over to the Ito place!"

"Hehe...my dad never even read books, it's funny to hear he's named after one...Son Goku is my father's name. He gave me this cloud, he called it the 'Flying Nimbus.'"
Then Julius and Spinel spoke up.
"Yeah, I think I've got room for others on here! Jump on, we can probably get to Ryuko's house in record time!"
Gohan shouts after Julius once he starts heading for the mansion.
"Julius, you and Spinel can just ride with me!"

Julius turned around, staring at Gohan in surprise. "W-wait...you're really gonna let me...?"
A pause.
Then, he cheered and ran over to the Nimbus. "We're gonna go flying! We're gonna go flying!" He grabbed onto the cloud as best he could—it was a cloud, after all—and pulled himself on. "We're gonna—"
He was cut off when he passed through the cloud and slammed face-first onto the pavement.
"Ow!"
Way to stick the landing.
"Mmgh," Julius muttered, pulling himself to his feet. He was relatively sure a bruise was forming somewhere, but fortunately, he didn't seem to have broken anything.
He looked down at the Nimbus and gave it a poke. "Why didn't it work?" he wondered out loud. He looked up at Gohan. "Can it only carry you if you're small? Like...really, really small? Sorry if I'm being mean..."
"Kept me waiting, haven’t you? Tch. No matter. Dawdle all you’d like. In the end, your defeat remains inevitable."
Freeman finally got his breath back after a while, and took notice of the small argument Ryuko and her father had.
Wow. I guess that explains why she seems so rich. What do you expect from a sleazy corporate guy?
Then finally, they got the chance to enter her house, and he whistled when he looked at how fancy it was.
"Not bad, kid." That's how he wants his mansion to look when he gets the Nobel prize, alright.
"Get used to the insanity, buddy." Freeman shrugged at Nick. "Got no powers unless you count my Ph D in theoretical physics, but I had to survive a alien invasion in my workplace, killed a ton of dumbass U.S. Army soldiers who were not covering up the incident, but we're also killing each other to leave no witnesses. And I killed an Elder God too, so there's that."

"They must come with us too, obviously!", Spinel agreed with Vito, nodding. "They're also the 'chosen ones', after all."
They had to inform the others about the Dragon Balls. And Gohan's offer was very tempting...
But the pink-clad girl embraced her thirst for a good time and headed over to the Flying Nimbus, jumping into it...before phasing through the cloud, falling, and literally flattening herself into a pancake.
"Oof!", she grunted as she shifted back to her default state and stood up.
But she wasn't the only unlucky one...
"J-Julius! Are you okay?", she ran up to the young mage. "It didn't work for me...and I'm not that short!"

"Yeah! A super-suit!" Mako cried, standing up next to Ryuko and pointing at her with extreme emphasis, "she has to take all of her clothes off, and then she can kick anyone's ass! It's super awesome! She has the best rack, even better than Lady Satsuki's!"
Ryuko opened her mouth in surprise then sighed. "Mako, I'm not an exhibitionist, that's just something I gotta live with if I want to keep using Senketsu." She nodded at Freeman's... compliment? Not like she felt all that thankful for the giant, empty house she was stuck in.
"No powers at all, huh?" she muttered under her breath, "well, I guess combat experience is more important than that. I wouldn't want to be carrying around some dead-weight while fighting whatever the hell we're up against."
"Uh, Ryuko...?"
"You don't count, Mako."

"Your father's name is Son Goku like the Monkey King of Saiyuki? That's... weird. Not a lot of people would name their kid after a character from an old novel. Specially an old novel from another country, and mythological, too. And well, the cloud remembers me that the Monkey King also had another special thing, his extending staff, the Nyoi Kinko Bō, or As You Wish Golden Hooped Pole." Said Kaito when he heard Gohan reply to his question.
"That had to hurt." Said Kaito when he saw Julius falling right down in his face after he tried to climb onto the Kinto'un, or Flying Nimbus, as Gohan called it. Then Spinel tried to jump onto it too and literally flattened herself into a pancake and reformed.
After staring bemusedly at Spinel for a few seconds and then looking at the cloud, he formed a theory in his head.
"Maybe only Gohan can fly it? After all, it's his cloud."
However, he quickly disproved himself when he tried to step onto the cloud, and amazingly, he could stand on it.
He looked at Gohan and then at himself.
"...Maybe the factor is being Japanese?" He said with a puzzled look.

"...It must work like the Spirit Bomb...only someone who's pure of heart can ride it..."

Does this have to do with my memories? Is...is because of what happened with...Pink Diamond?!
Blurry memories of Pink Diamond abandoning her and her endless wait for her return played in her mind, looking like they were glitchy.
Spinel stubbornly shook her head. The pink-clad girl wasn't going to give in to these memories because of something so trivial. They needed to tell the others at the mansion about the road trip.
And with that, Spinel was on her way to the Ito Mansion.

Stripper superpowers? Now that's a new one. Makes me wonder what sort of weird superpowered weirdos did CIA recruit too.
"Ah, my co workers deserve the spot of dead weight more than me. No way those idiots could kill an Elder God like me." Freeman shrugged at Ryuko's comment of his lack of powers, before glancing at Sandra.
"I hope this quilted multiverse shit can get sorted quick enough, but the kool-aid stuff in the sky makes me think it's gonna take a while. I just hope CIA keeps his part of the deal and gets me to Hawaii." He said as he glanced at the sky from the window with an annoyed frown.

"But that's no excuse for getting late. Everyone else must be worried." Kaito said as he stepped down of the Nimbus, and then created some small eddies under his feet and rode off in them like they were rollerblades.
"Follow Julius to Ryuko's house." He said to Gohan. "I'm going to grab a book from my house, hopefully before the clouds do something weird like making it rain lava creatures."
Kaito's apartment a mile away from the park
Kaito went and grabbed Superheroes. An essay about the superpowered world and its inhabitants. and a small notebook he had at his bedside table. He then looked around his apartment and grabbed a small bag and put the book and notebook inside along with a pen, his own pocket editions of The Art of War and Saiyuki, and Hostess Fruit Pies with their real fruit filling and tender light crust, just in case.
He then left his apartment and headed up to the Ito Household.

Gohan nods and takes off towards the Ito mansion on the Nimbus.
...Due to the Nimbus flying and not needing to abide by pedestrian sidewalks, roads or any real rules whatsoever (as well as just being plain old fast) Gohan probably arrives there before the others. Those at the mansion will see an eleven-year-old nerd with a red staff on his back flying towards them on a golden cloud.

Gohan leaps off, landing surprisingly easily despite his nerdy demeanor. The cloud flies off into the sky, leaving a yellow trail in its wake.
"I...got here first, didn't I?"
Then he hears the mention of the "Monkey King." He's even got the staff on his back and everything!
"Yeah, Mr. Tanaka mentioned that, too...apparently my dad's named after someone in a book. His name's Son Goku. Weird that I hadn't heard of it...oh, right!"
The kid reaches into his pocket, pulling out an orange, crystal-like sphere with four red stars apparently suspended inside it.
"I got that gem from my house, it's called a Dragon Ball. Looks like we'll need six more to get them to work, though...at least, that's what my mom said."
...Why in the world would his mom know about a magic orb from another dimension?

Not too afar from the Ito Household, Kaito started to speed up and try not to become too inmersed with his thoughts, but the memories of Yuki started to resurface and it was clear that they were going to haunt him again. All the universes were destroyed, and with them, all the friends and teammates and by extension, enemies were nowhere to be seen. But the angsting and wailing had to wait. He had already arrived to the Ito Household.
Kaito dispelled both the feelings and the eddies when he sighed, waved at Gohan, smiled dorkishly at the three radio team members and said "Hi.".
