I think the main problem with what I'm seeing is that while it would be very disingenuous to imply VII wasn't a game of spectacle, this seems to be kicking it up to Advent Children levels where it kind of undermines the original game.
I knew we would need a spoiler thread because shit was gonna get so weird and different.
I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the outrage.

I'm irrationally angry they redid the part where Cloud heads into the Lifestream to confront Sephiroth for that.

I mean they did say in original the bomb wasn't supposed to cause that much damage but they never confirmed the reason why
