I don't think the illustration is good.
The trope is oddly named, but it really is that someone (a lover, generally) asked or accepted to be vamped and later regrets it and starts hating the "sire". It is not "a family of vampires that squabble".
So it strikes me that the image illustrates the trope name rather than the trope. Pull it.
