I missed the part where the kid was drifting? I remember him unjamming Jakob's car and leaping out of Dante's.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).The kid straight up has a body count, that's much more concerning.
It's been 3000 years…It's at the very beginning of the movie. Dom is teaching his clearly underage son how to drift and no one seems to think it's weird in universe.
On an unrelated note, I did do a little fist pump when Maneskin played on the soundtrack like a dork

Well, they are criminals who participate in illegal street races, I don't think they particularly care about the laws around driving a car.
Optimism is a duty.Ah that explains it, I missed the first 20 mins and came in when they were chasing the bomb.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).The lack of fatalities from radiation sickness is not Artistic License – Nuclear Physics: The bomb detonated at the bottom of the Tiber, where the water would shield most of the neutron radiation (neutrons are shielded efficiently by hydrogen). Furthermore, the position of the bomb did not give a line-of-sight to bystanders. It's entirely plausible that anyone far enough away to survive the explosion would also survive the radiation.
I don't see how any river could adequately shield you from the radiation from an atomic explosion. Water can shield you from radiation, yes, but not if the water is being blown up.
Optimism is a duty.Water moderates neutrons, and it does so on the timescale of a fraction of a millisecond, while the high energy neutrons are emitted at a few percent of the speed of light. The neutrons would be moderated before the fireball and shockwave would vaporize and blow away the water.
I saw it. Fun as always.
Funny thing: during the scene where the feds go after Mia and Little B at her house, the POV shot of one of them being punched had me thinking "wait, are they actually going to give Brian an action scene where he's hidden offscreen the whole time? Cause that'd be hilarious". I was a little disappointed to learn that no, that was Jakob, and Brian was apparently off somewhere else.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonPitch meeting for Fast-X
The First manAh Hobbes and Shaw 2 electric Boogaloo.
Or, wow a Fast movie about Hobbs? I love how modular this franchise is.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I just want Hobbs to get a new partner named Calvin.
I think it will be another Hobbes and Shaw flick. The end credits scene of X sets up Dante going after Hobbes and Dwayne has said he wants to get Momoa involved in a sequel.

The First manWell according to that article...
Universal Pictures is in active development on an untitled new “Fast & Furious” film starring Dwayne Johnson as Luke Hobbs, TheWrap has exclusively learned.
Although plot details are being kept under wraps, according to insiders with knowledge of the project, the film won’t be a sequel to “Hobbs & Shaw” or a spinoff. Instead, it will be a direct continuation of the main “Fast Saga” story, serving as a bridge between “Fast X” and “Fast X: Part II.”
...apparently not. In so far as you trust that website.

Just got my copy of Fast X on DVD. When's Fast 11–or Part II apparently as it's being called—expected again?
Given that cliffhanger, there's a lot riding—no pun intended—on not only what's about to happen next, but on the next movie as well too. At least Dead Reckoning Part One still felt like an ending—which is indeed a welcomed change from the Empire Strikes Back style conclusions as of late. Also, be interesting to see other characters from Better Luck Tomorrow show up too somehow—as well as others from past movies we haven't seen in a while too.
The Cipher prequel still happening? If not, just Fast 11 and the Hobbs movie? They basically reveal with that stinger that Dante—or maybe Aimes instead since he has the government resources—was the one behind Brixton all along?

Dante Reyes is now my favorite part of this franchise.
As tough a guy as he can play, Jason Momoa definitely knows wacky/crazy as was displayed in the role certainly.
There is an article on Vanity Fair that says Vin Diesel has been accused of sexual battery.

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. This sounds like a glorified escort.
Mind, not saying she's lying, but the job position and the implied necessity of it sounds absurd. Assistant/planner I get, but "hired to stay close to me" sounds like either a bodyguard or escort position.
So, do we think he's guilty?

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I'm…not touching this right now.
Something I definitely wonder about in the next film is what kind of interaction Cipher and Isobel are gonna have. I can't imagine a pleasant one since the former had the latter's sister killed. I doubt they're gonna be standing next to each other singing "Cumbauya" anytime soon.
Eh, Shaw and Hobbs get along begrudgingly. At this point anything's possible. Isobel's sister might even be alive.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Deckard didn't kill any of Hobbs's actual family though and it turns out, he didn't kill Han either. Cipher pretty handily burned a lot of bridges. Just the question now as to how Gisele became associated with her and what their relationship is.
I considered that too. For all we know, maybe she faked Elena's death somehow—and at this point, the idea that that theory may not actually be that far-fetched is an insane thing.
I'm pegging Jason Momoa by the way as a potential wildcard Best Villain nominee. By that I mean, it could go either way on whether or not he's nominated at this point.

I'd vote for him. That flamboyant pwrformance won me over.
Its not something he does just to mess with Dom. His "here we gooooo" right before the final chase kills me.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).
Because it's fun. And a ten year old drifting a car isn't even close to being the wildest thing about this franchise.
Optimism is a duty.
