I've gotten all three endings for IS 3! Storytelling is leagues above IS 2 in terms of presentation and coherence as all three endings have a fairly distinct path to take but inform each other well and contextualize them all as different possibilities rather than the Playwright's poorly conveyed time loops. Atmosphere is well done with the creeping dread of the Seaborn and Iberia's slow descent into being overrun by them while the Doctor and Mizuki get further and further into the heart of the ocean.
That said, I do have a soft spot for the Crimson Troupe's aesthetic, so musically I prefer IS 2's OST overall. Final bosses 1 and 2 are fine, but Ishar'mla is fairly frustrating depending on team lineup and Troupe Master felt more interesting overall in terms of gimmick. Still really neat to see the costume be used for something though.

My biggest complaint about IS 3 is they didn't repeat putting a bunch of specialist tokens in the rewards. So cruel.

I think HG knew the players would just abuse that for Phantom or Texas Alter, so they replaced it with module mats. We still don't know if they'll keep it up for IS 4 or if they'll put 6* supporter tokens instead

True for me. Since i rarely use Re-deploy units, Texas Alter would have gotten on the Specialist tokens if i had a hoard of them.

the idea here is that the tokens were intended for the operation headlining the respective season. That is2's case, Phantom. But they did goof by making them generic. But at the same time assuming that everyone has phantom woulve led to it being useless.
Mod mats are prolly better long term though.

Not really? You can always get more mod mats every week, every event. Royal tokens are available only very rarely outside of the distinction store, and that requires the right class to roll around (on top of, obviously, being non-farmable once you run out of recruitment tickets). <_>

But the tokens assume you have an applicable operator. And then being there at all makes it clear HG though a free copy 9f Phantom is too generous. Mod mats are at least meant to be universal and the fact that you have other sources means there is more leeway with who gets them.
And to be honest I kinda prefer the epic tokens ever since they decided that MS welfares have the last couple be gated behind Hell stages (while event ones can still be max pot on day 1 of their event)
Like bringing this back to IS 3, Highmore and Shalem's pots are still among the default rewards instead of being saved for expansions of their respective seasons.

Like, seriously, should they not hand out mats because the mega-whales have everything at 6* and therefore might reject the notion of needing to roll one less copy?
"I'm glad we get worse, more easily replaced rewards because I don't want to/can't yet clear a particular stage" is a take.

On a side note, I find it really dumb how the main story welfare operators have bonuses when you use them in their main-story chapters they come from, but you don't actually GET them as main-story awards until you're already more than halfway through the damn chapter anyways. At that point it's almost like why the hell would anyone bother spending mats on them to raise them up just to clear the remaining final stages? And of course by the time you've fully potential'd them, you've completed all the hardest optional challenge stages in that chapter to get those potential tokens in the first place making it a case of Bragging Rights Reward when it comes to using that welfare operator for the chapter they're intended to be used in.

speaking of Bubble, my priorities now involve getting her and Cuora's mods maxed. Along with getting Omertosa to S 2 M 3, E2ing Highmore and after the event, farming RMA's for Highmore's skills.
EDIT: turns out I already maxed Bubble's mod Cuora's however needs RMA's...
Tell me, does RM As drop from BI stages? if not, could I get some from IS 3's Ecosequence?
