Project Sakura Wars (Spoiler Thread)

Hello and welcome. After a brief discussion about a potential thread for spoilers and leaks regarding Project Sakura Wars on the main series' thread (in fact, some of the leaks on the unfinished French trailer such as Kamiyama's first confrontation with the demon in Central Station, Kamiyama's relationship with Sakura, the return of Sumire Kanzaki, the possible disbandment of the Imperial Combat Revue and Sakura's dream of joining the revue have all been confirmed by now), I figured that it's time to kick off this thread. We're also getting close to the Japanese release date (December 12), so we'll have a lot more to talk about around this time as well.

I know some of you might not be aware of this, but the tournament's announcer is voiced by Shinichiro Ota (aka the floor reporter from Iron Chef).

Currently at chapter 3, really enjoying this.

Overall, it was good IMO. Obviously some things could have been done better. I really enjoyed it and hope it will be a success and get a sequel, because its clear that this isn't a stand alone game and there are some foreshadowing and hints for future games.

So, quick question: While I'm still working on the Sandbox.Shin Sakura Taisen The Novel Hizakura No Koro page, should I place it on the "Literature" or "Light Novel" pages once it has a sufficient amount of tropes?

If it is a Light Novel, then it should be referred to as such.

The anime is set 1941, after the game. Kamiyama is transferred to Europe together with Lancelot and Elise. Sakura is the appointed captain of the Revue while he is away. One day, Kamiyama return to Japan temporarily and bring with him a girl named Clara, who is suppoosedly the only survivor of the Moscow Revue. Sakura and co. is assigned to protect her. At the same time, a group who claimed to be The Moscow Revue appears in the Capital. The Imperial Revue must protect Clara while facing the mysterious group.

The official worldwide release date for the game has now been confirmed. It'll be released on April 28, 2020.

They are. They just haven't shown off the dub yet.

I don't think they are.

All of the PR said Japanese voices with English, German, French, and Spanish subs.
