Zinnia always struck me as a character who was meant to be broken inside, acting irrationally because of past losses and hiding behind notions of pre-ordained destiny so she never has to admit to anything or rely on anyone. Which would make for a compelling character in a more nuanced world, but in a setting as saccharine and straightforward as Pokemon it really sticks out like a sore thumb. I didn't really have much of a problem with her arc in ORAS, but that may be because I saw her as a pseudo-antagonist to begin with rather than an ally.

Anyway, I don't have an Olivia, so I guess I'm stuck on Roxanne support duty instead.

By the way, as tempting as pulling for Kukui is, you may wanna save your gems for Valentine's Day. Apparently Steven's scheduled to release then, and like Lance/Cynthia it's a boosted 5-star rate.

Steven gave me a Shiny Metagross, that's a huge point in his favor.

I may not like guys, but even I think there are a ton of husbando options out there in the world of Pokemon.

I wish they'd add new 3-star and 4-star characters. It's kinda draining how every new release is some oppressively-rare 5-star, and it means we hardly ever get Gym Leaders and other lesser characters.

Ew, Sycamore looks like the kind of guy who wears too much cologne and doesn't wash his hair enough.

There are plenty of good ones, but Steven is the (go)GOAT.

Oh well, at least we get a decent supply of freebies with the main story. Speaking of which, datamine suggests Wallace will be our next story freebie, strangely enough. A stripper we don't have to pay for!

Probably, though there wasn't any data on him other than his identity. No stats or Pokemon.

It's possible he's just being added as an NPC for now like Mallow was, too. Possibly in the story event related to our Valentine's Day character.

Gen V is actually doing pretty well. Rosa is one of the faces, Hilbert and Hilda are in, Cheren is in, Iris is in, most of the Leaders and E4 are in. There's just one obvious N-shaped hole left over, and you know they're saving him for easy money.

And if Father's Day doesn't involve Giovanni awkwardly trying to bond with Silver I'll be disappointed.

I too eagerly await Dennis. It's already awkward enough having positive interaction with Giovanni in the Poke Center and Sync Pair Story.
