I've read a segment of the first book but haven't picked it back up. Was interesting, though. My brother loves it.
I've read the first five and I'm eager to read the rest. I liked the urban setting, the very detailed world building, the hint of humor; the first three books are (in my opinion) equally good and well balanced. The fourth ("Broken Homes") has a huge importance plot-wise, a clever (if not very original) premise, but I find it somehow lacking all the fine background details that I loved from the others (there are, still, but not so much or so memorable). The fifth ("Foxglove Summer") has a setting which I adored but a disappointing ending. The series does not seem to uphold 'status quo is god' and the overall arc has the chance to end with fireworks. Very nice reading.
Hi, haven't seen any dialogue about the Rivers of London series, thought I'd start one, have many of you read it?
