Male Byleth looks better with blue, but Female Byleth looks better with the green hair.
Yeah, my headcanon is that Sothis's conciousness was exhausted after allowing Byleth full access to their goddess powers, but the 5 year slumber let her regain strength. She just doesn't manifest again because, with her memories back, she realizes she already lived her life, now it's Byleth's turn.
I mean, by all accounts, since Sothis wakes Byleth, it's not out of the realm of possibility that she could have woken up the body herself and let Byleth's conciousness stay asleep.
I wonder if it'll be possible to make DLC Anna into a dancer. I'm not sure what the chances of her being a student are, since I can also see her being a faculty member that teaches you money-making skills.
I'm already a little bummed out that we likely won't be able to get Dancer Jeritza, since I doubt he's going to be playable during White Cloud.
You can only make the students take the Dancer exam anyway
Song of the SirensYeah, which is why I mentioned that I wasn't sure how good her chances of being a student are. And I'm still bemoaning the lack of Dancer Seteth.
Yeah: if you can't have dancer Manuela, they're not giving us dancer Anna.
It would be so good, and no less inappropriate than dancer Dimitra/Raphael/Bernadetta.

Something something dancer joke here. The real dancer should have been Alois.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I'd pay money for dancer!Seteth.
On my first run I made Felix my dancer, just because I knew he'd hate it and look great doing it (mua ha ha).
Dancer Felix is actually not a bad idea, because he really appreciates that extra Sword Avoid.
I made Dorothea my dancer on all four of my playthroughs, but I'm thinking of making someone else a dancer when I do my fifth playthrough (after figuring out which routes get Jeritza). I was thinking of either Mercedes (even if I'll miss her long hair after the timeskip) or Dimitri (because I need to see him do the dance during his Rage Rat phase, assuming it's possible).

I usually just give it to whatever student I like enough to use but has gotten stat-screwed. Best performer thus far was a Gradivus-wielding Ferdinand.
Marianne seems like the best dancer given her sword proficiency for dodge, riding for move + 1, and Physic for whenever extra healing is needed or no one useful is within dancing range.
I made Petra my dancer when i first played. I don't remember regretting it.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.First time my dancer was Sylvain, since he had the highest charm out of all my units
Song of the SirensI gave it to Flayn my first playthrough, mainly cause I couldn't say no when she asked. She was just that excited.
I'd like to imagine that in any dance competition with Flayn as a contestant, Seteth isn't allowed anywhere near it in case he tries to voicelessly intimidate the judges into giving her the win.
Or maybe he's too busy scouring the crowd for anyone that looks at her with what he assumes to be less-than-pure intentions.
i'd imagine the faculty desperately trying to distract Seteth from attending because Flayn is in it. I'd like to say Seteth would be unbiased as a judge if Flayn was a contestant, but then i remember this is the same guy who held a fishing competition so Flayn could get one fish.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. To be fair, said fishing contest happens after she's rescued from the Death Knight, so one could say that his intentions were to help her recover from her ordeal quicker.
Apparently she hid her romance with Claude well enough in their paired route that Seteth never had a clue.
I'm trying to figure out how that worked out when he finally asked permission to marry her. I can only imagine Claude walked up to Seteth one day, casually put his arm over his shoulder and said as nonchalantly as possible; "You know... You'd make a great father-in-law."
Huh, all the other translation differences were pretty minor, but this one is actually bad.
*notices comment on that thread about how Treehouse purposefully localizing Edelgard badly (because one employee mentioned liking Dimitri) would explain everything*
...Yep, that's the Reddit Edelgard fandom for you.

Lol, calm down reddit.
That translation fits a lot more with the Arundel scene that follows.
Clearly, Tree houses edited the script to make Edelgard look bad because they liked Claude better lol.

I've seen some fanart and palate swaps, and Byleth looks best with Jeralt's hair colour.
