Delusional too. Oh well.

I know how Hitler should be fought in Wolfenstein III: The New...something.

As a mecha-hitler but because the individual himself is so mentally unhinged, he'll indiscriminately lash out, attack everything.

ENDING SPOILER ALERT: So BJ basically confirms that not only do alternate dimensions exist, but that the earlier Wolfenstein titles - and by extent the DOOM games - do exist in the same multiverse. Certainly would explain why the Nazis have been looking into what may potentially be Argent energy, which is what powers the Uberhammer and some of their more advanced projects. Oh, and the severe weather phenomena is Hitler's fault: guy wanted to orchestrate his Operation Downfall plan on a GLOBAL scale should he ever die, and its that impending apocalypse that's causing the Nazis to quietly splinter from the inside.

Sadly, I gotta agree with most of the points made in Skill Up's video. Well, save for a few tidbits: the AI partner isn't that horribly incompetent, nor will they give away your position when trying to hide (its basically the same style as in The Last of Us where Ellie's basically invisible to enemies until you're spotted... kinda shows he didn't play with the stealth mechanics very much), and the so-called "microtransactions" are honestly negligible; it's only related to gun, melee weapon or armor sets, and you can even buy those cosmetics with silver, which is easily earned in-game.

Oh, one BIG tip to take away from his video. If you're planning on picking up Youngblood, at least watch from 17:50 through 19:20, it covers the armor mechanics, shows you the two block types you'll be squinting at, and just how confusing it can be at times to interpret that info in a tense firefight. HINT: just stick to the Laser Kraftwerk, Machinepistole and Laserhammer once you unlock them, they do good damage against everybody regardless of armor type.

Is it like Borderlands where certain elements do more damage against certain enemy types?

At least story is good for most of the part, right? I really like Blazko's daughters.

Anyway about the spoilers... does that mean Da'at Yichud technology is derived from Night Sentinels? Or if they gave them, I dunno.

Also, Machine Games have one last chance and they better make Wolfenstein III: The New Whatever be truly great.

Some people are already saying the reboot is ruined even tho Youngblood and Cyberpilot are spin-offs than actual sequels.

Come on Machine Games, get your shit together, you did so well with The New Order and The New Colossus despite questionable decisions and changes...

[up][up]Not really. It's either block type A (usually heavy armor or metals) or B (kevlar, flak vests, etc), and no they don't make much sense as to which weapons they're associated with nor the enemies who carry them.

Case in point: you wanna damage something like the Panzerhund, Zerstroyers, or Ubersoldats? Use the pistol; its supposed to be used against armored enemies, which is typically type A. Wanna damage light infantry and riot suit troops? Well, that SHOULD mean the Machinepistole should be optimal, but in reality it's just plain effective vs everyone, especially when fully upgrated.

[up]Nothing about the Dat Yichud tech coming from a foreign source, but frankly? It's not an impossibility; the DOOM verse supposedly co-exists with Wolfenstein, so who's to say there can't be another cabal of super-science worshipping Jews, hopping from one reality to the next?

Sgt Ricko, in your sincerest opinion, do you think a lot of gameplay changes can be properly fixed with patches or would it be a lost cause?

Possibly, but it would be a major overhaul, not just some stat rebalance. Biggest change would be at least putting goddamned checkpoints in the Brother towers: it's super-frustrating having to die against the server room defense bot, only to repeat a whole level again, and with even LESS ammo than you started. Oh, and the ability to pause when playing alone. Baffling how they couldn't bother to include a pause button.

I guess it could be doable alongside some apology and better listening. Yeah.

Also on [up][up][up] and what about if Da'at Yichud and Night Sentinels crossed paths? Explored, fought together, shared technology and knowledge with each other, that stuff.

Imagine how cool it would be to find a Da'at Yichud vault in DOOM Eternal.

Huh from what I see of B.J.'s girls both of them have the samish frat-boy boisterous personality.

Kind of a mistake there. The frat-boy idiot personality can easily get grating so a good way to make it bearable is to have the other sibling act as a foil.

But if both of them act the same Totally Radical way, that's a recipe for disaster.

wow checking r/gamingcirclejerk and typing wolfenstein and sorting by "a week ago" showed me some of the most moronic results I ever seen.

This game struck a real nerve with anti-SJ Ws huh. Bombarding the game with 0% score and useless information.

Instead focusing on actual flaws... sheesh.

What is it with Wolfenstein attracting this sheer amount of stupid lately?

Well, it's a franchise that has you killing Nazis. The alt-right has taken over the country and internet in real life. Put two and two together and you can see why it'd attract heat borne of stupidity.

Having both player characters being female kind of made me skeptical, with the lack of variety being between the two as a result. But it's been done before, combat suits and all.

Variety? Like one of them being more about ranged weapons and the other being a brawler close combatant? They wasted such a good opportunity. The potential of synergizing and overcoming obstacles together...

I like that co-op stuff when it's meaningful and both are different.

Again: Machine Games, you have one last shot at Wolfenstein III. Please oh please just listen to sane peoples criticism and build from there.

I would really hate to see their reputation completely tarnished and seen as the weak link of the big four under Bethesda.

I beat this a couple of days ago and really enjoyed it.

The story was a bit light, but I wasn't expecting it to be anything deep. Long cutscenes do not go well with being a co-op shooter.

Level design was excelent. My only real complaint was Checkpoint Starvation with the Brother towers, but Machinegames say they'll patch it out.

Gunplay was excellent.
