My initial assumption upon hearing that both playable protagonists are women is that was decided from the developers agreeing to go further "Fuck off entirely alt-righters"
My reaction to this on the trailer on You Tube was just me saying “Murder? It’s not murder if it’s Nazis!”
I really need to get the New Colossus, but it just looks so damn depressing.
Actually I heard it ramps up the comedy & quirky side-characters.
B.J. even becomes more prone to cracking smiles & wisecracks compared to The New Order where it looks like he needs a boatload of depressives.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Solid trailer! I hope there's some compelling villains in this installment. The thing with reboot Wolfenstein games is strong supporting friendly cast but when it comes to Nazis... eh, I find Deathshead most memorable of them all.
With the co-op element this reminds me of Half-Life: Decay, just... nazis all around. Yeah.
For the first half of the story, yes it is. It's only after a certain plot event that things start looking up for BJ and his crew.
Anyhoot, should be pretty cheap by now, so go ahead and grab it on Humble Bundle for around $17 USD. Oh, and you if happened to ever be a System Shock or Bioshock fan go check out Prey, HIGHLY under-rated gem that one.

New Colossus I'm extremely mixed on. The story is all over the place in terms of its tone, and the shooting gets frequently interrupted by long sections where you do nothing but watch unskippable cutscenes and forced stealth sequences. I'll just let this guy explain more of my problems (even though I still enjoyed it overall).
I'm OK with female protagonists, but they come off a bit obnoxiously in this trailer. Not sure about pasting the 'dudebro' attitude onto female characters and calling it a day.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectIt is amusing though.
Like what's wrong with girls acting like dudebros? They can be douches too.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah, they are very macho. Though I'm more "meh" about the dialogue than anything.
Life is Strange 2.5: Killing Natzis or Inglorious Witches.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.I don't mind how the twins are. I love it! Besides they have to be ferocious in a nazi infested world.
Again, I just want better villain cast apart from hordes of nazis you shoot down. Deathshead still stands as the greatest villain in entire franchise.
I guess Rip Blazkowicz comes second. That bastard deserved everything he got.
Frau Engel isn't... that bad, I guess but wow she latched onto the Villain Ball. I was hoping she'd man the Ausmerzer herself and try her damnedest best to sink your u-boat. Instead she's on a talk show, you come up to her and split her skull in half with the hatchet.
Seriously, destroying the airship itself with the sub would've been much more awesome.
@slim: Oh, nothing wrong with it, just not my preference. A whole game of that (male OR female) would probably cause my ears to bleed.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectThe trailer got me hype and i love the Twins so far.
I wonder if all of the American continent has been liberated, or if it's just the US.
Except they aren't, not both of them anyway.
Sophie is the one that's all Butch, Jess is more lady like.
Besides, they are Blazko's kids.
Anyway, you're misusing the word dudebro, it certainly doesn't apply here.

I hope it's coming for the Nintendo Switch.
Edit: It is. I need to pay more attention.

New trailer.
The E3 presentation was very adamant about the family fun that is killing Nazis. It’s kind of refreshing actually.
Seeing as the girls don’t know what stealth is, here’s hoping it’s a bit easier to work in and out of gunfights.
Solid trailer! One hope I have is, I do not mind TNC's cutscenes even if they were long, is that gameplay is longer and there's less downtime.
I hope reviews are kind on this... *gulp*
Shit its already out.
Looks fun, hopefully the gameplay issues from Colossus have improved.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I’m admittedly worried since it’s only $30. Any reason they aren’t charging full price?
It's a spin-off to Wolfenstein rather than a true sequel. Think that has to do with it?
It’s not a full game.
It’s a DLC spin-off like New Order’s The Old Blood.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Likely due to using a fair amount of assets (used/unused in the final game) from Colossus. Typical standalone expansion buisness.
Surprised this didn't have a thread of it's own, but I guess that's due to the game not generating much press beyond it's vague initial teaser last year. But now, we've got a more concrete idea of how the game will look, thanks to a gameplay trailer.
The plot will focus on Jess and Soph Blazkowicz, the twin teenaged daughters of BJ Blazkowicz and Anya as they try and find out why their dad suddenly ran off to Nazi-controlled Paris and went MIA. This obviously means a bit of a time skip, probably 18 years, and they'll both have their own versions of BJ's power armor to help them along. And yep, this is going to be a co-op game through-and-through, though you can still play solo if you wish.
The release date is set for July 29th this year: preorder bonuses aren't much from the looks of things, just a couple of unique skins for the twins suits and some alternate gun skins.
