I think it would depend on where if anyplace they appear otherwise. If it's on GoComics but it's also been running in papers for 40 year then no. If it's only there or if it's GC and another website then probably yes. Although some of their web only strips (like Phoebe and Her Unicorn) do go onto syndication.
