Episode 11:

Seems that some mysteries have been solved. So it was revealed that Wakaba is a scientist that tries to create a world and he also has a child friend named Lily or something like that. Due to the lack of attention and Lily tries to be useful to Wakaba, she then created a red tree that is the opposite of Kemurikusa. However, as a result, the tree went out of control and created a lot of Red Bugs. Yeah, the episode is great tbh as it does connect some puzzle pieces altogether. But man, I feel sad about the end when Rin is seemingly alone.

Final Episode:

Ah, that was a truly brutal fight between the tree and the protagonist. But at the end of the day? It truly pays off and they truly have a Happy Ending at the end and it was revealed that the setting is mostly on a spaceship rather than the Post Apocalyptic World (Although still barely). That's actually a bit surprising but I'm cool with it. But yeah, I do really love the Earn Your Happy Ending type of Ending because the character had to face some trials and tribulations and get this kind of ending which is nice!

Final thoughts on the anime: Yeah, it starts out as wonky alright and the character design wasn't that spectacular. But as the time went by? Several mysteries were unraveled and at the end of the day, after trials and tribulations, the anime ended up on an uplifting note. And yeah, ngl that the second half is the part where the anime picks up the pace which is cool.

Finale:

i was worried that the final fight was gonna become anticlimactic, but as it turned out, i had nothing to worry about. damn, Tatsuki pulled out all the stops for this final episode. Midori's vine that was tied around him returned as a Chekhov's Gun and saved his life, Ritsu, Ryou and Ryoku revealed themselves to Rin and she they finally defeated the Red Tree.

i didn't watch the original Kemono Friends when it aired, but after seeing this, i can easily see why it got such a positive reception. Tatsuki is a great director

An overall amazing series. I'm glad I could watch it, and holy shit, I only now just realized that the sisters did say something right after vanishing in episode 12. 12.1 is exactly what they said. I want to add more tropes, but my recent edit is the most I can do. If anyone can check and see what I'm missing, I'd be grateful.

Man, Tatsuki and Yaoyorozu are a blessing.

Just finished the anime.

I loved it. I liked the mysterious, ambient setting and how the most of the questions raised in the story is actually answered. In these days, animes that actually achieve the latter is surprisingly small so I really appreciated that. Also, I really liked the romance between Rin and Wakaba. I think it's one of the better anime romances. Let there be multiplication...

But yeah, the animation itself is bad, which becomes especially apparent in the last episode. I mean come on, man, that level of animation in the final big battle? That's pretty damn awful, and I also hate we never got to see Ritsu actually fighting by herself.

With that said, I think the pros outweigh the cons and I would highly recommend this. I give this anime three stars out of four. I'd given it 3.5 if only the animation was better.

Oh yeah, and I absolutely love both opening and the ending. I wonder when the full version of the opening will be released.
