Does Yoshida even know that Nayuta is the Control Devil?
Probably and if he does they probably do have a way to control her.
Like despite her abilities Makima herself had her own superiors who she lived in obedience of due to the way she had been raised, even if she saw 99.9999-% of everything as beneath her.
As Makima herself once said “The bigwigs are all scary”. These are the same individuals that they DONT want to raise Nayuta after we saw the results of them raising Makima.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.New chapter and our boy isn't doing so well is he? Like, he needs friends and acceptance, and now he has a pretender to deal with on top of everything else.
Hmmm... The pretender is Yoshida, right? For him to have Denji stop being Chainsaw Man so that he can shoulder everything for the sake of peace, eh? At some point, Denji's likely to go back into being Chainsaw Man again. After all, it seems that "there will never be peace" is something of a theme...
From the creators of "he's just like me fr fr" meme, we now have "He's not like me fr fr"

While I appreciate the increased focus on Denji and Nayuta, I also miss Asa and Yoru. I hope they remain the primary POV characters.
So this might be Denji's main character bit, trying to find contentment that doesn't revolve around basing his entire identity on being Chainsaw Man.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Don't steal someone else's credit friend. It's not cool.
One Strip! One Strip! The funniest bit about the start of this chapter is that despite going “Nuh uh!” At the end of the previous Denji actually does try to stick to the bargain Yoshida offered.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Denji expecting a call made me laugh harder than it should. Otherwise this was a pretty sad chapter. I don't know why, but Meowy's appearance made me tear up.
What fate a slugcat...No way this is the actual Fakesaw Man, would not even be the first fakeout on the fake we have gotten. Would not be surprised if this is a trick by Fami to lure out Yoru.
And yeah, its really nice to see Meowy still doing good.
I love how Denji's all, "TF is this 'peace and justice' shit?! The real Chainsaw Man fights for no good reason at all!"
No surprise they want him to not be Chainsawman at the moment. He’d be so bad publicly he’d end up turning everyone against him.
No surprise they’re trying to build a good image for him using spite for adults.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. Now is this guy part of the plan for Yoshida/Public Safety, or are they gonna have to reverse course? Because if they really were afraid of the Chainsaw Man Church, keeping Denji in hiding has already become a problem, not a solution.
I realize the most significant line has to be this guy, on live TV, claiming Chainsaw Man got his powers from the Justice Devil. He could get outed as a fake a day later, but that'll still inspire a huge number of people to do like Class Pres or Yuko.
I don't know if that would benefit Fami somehow or she just wanted a handwave for their fake Chainsaw Man's powers and DGAF about the consequences.
I imagine Fami is seeking a means of making either Chainsawman or the Fake more powerful using some other source of power beyond fear. Since Fear itself gives birth to demons who are also living concepts, potentially harnessing some other emotion should be possible right?
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. As Makima has shown, making devils popular decreases their power because less people fear them. If what Fami say about needing Yoru to stop the apocalypse is true, then making Chainsaw man weaker and allowing her to regain her former strength would be the more logical conclusion.
That’s also true, but I do think there should be some means of harnessing other emotions as well since fear is shown to capable of doing so much.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. If that was possible, people would have been trying to take advantage of is millenia ago.
It's a pretty key part of this setting that fear is the only emotion that exerts outright psychic power onto the world.
I never even suggested humans to begin with, but a Devil.
Frankly with how humans are it’s more likely for that to end badly like how Public Safety raised Makima into the woman everyone knows. Hell devils don’t even have to figure it out considering they couldn’t even figure out the Hero of Hell wanted hugs. All they saw in hell was Pochita rescuing devils from other devils and then killing the one he rescued.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. What I like in these last few chaps is that for the first time (except with Power, maybe) Denji has shown he was genuinely afraid of losing someone, not something. Sure, he quickly went back to his Denji ways, but at least for a minute he considered putting Nayuta’s safety above his stupid little fame.
Gotta say I’ve seen people joking that Denjis fit over how fake Chainsawman is nothing like him is the I aM a DoCtOr! meme and now I can’t unsee it.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. Not sure about the situation with the Class President, didn’t that happen before War got involved with Asa?
All of this makes perfect sense if it was all a bluff on Yoshida part. Thus why Nayuta was nearby and they were waiting to reunite them until the other guy brought her early. They never expected him to pick the let Nayuta die option.
Unfortunately he failed to consider that Denji is:
An idiot.
and also
An idiot.
At this point he’d be better off letting him reveal himself to the public and the backlash and being sued by the government for damages forcing Denji to have to come to Yoshida for help and hide his identity.
