Hytale is an upcoming game from Hypixel Studios. The developer is an offshoot company of Hypixel, Inc., who run the most popular Minecraft servers in the world (and will continue to keep them running, despite this game's existence), and with their experience on that game, they've decided to make their own block-based sandbox game while also throwing in RPG elements and a procedurally-generated fantasy world with its own unique inhabitants and history for you to explore. Build a nice place, go on adventures, and take down dangerous monsters to get your hands on some nice loot!

But that's not all the game has to offer— as is tradition for Hypixel, you can also play a selection of minigames old and new. Player-created community servers and character customization are also features. Hytale was made with the creative in mind, too; the game has robust modding support and a wide slate of tools that let you make it your own, including the Hytale Model Maker, a utility for modeling, texturing, and animating new things to add to the game world. There's even in-game scripting. Plus, you can make your own Hytale machinima using their cinematic tools.

Hytale has no release date yet, but Hypixel Studios, who have been toiling away at this since 2015, is working to get the game into players' hands as quickly as possible while ensuring it still lives up to those players' expectations. It's slated to come out on PC and Mac, with other platforms being considered.

You can learn more and sign up for the game's beta on the official website. Have questions? There's a FAQ for that.

Here's a holiday blog update from the Hytale team, which includes an R&D video on the improvements to weather and fog. The team will reveal more info on the game through more articles on the blog, starting in early January.

Also, I made a page for the game.

Dude, if you're just going to advertise a product, go somewhere else. We want topics to discuss games, not market them.
