Wouldn't guys like Jiren and Toppo pull a Vegito and not be affected by Buu's beam and just continue to beat the shit out of him?

The manga makes no indication that the no-sell is anything but Vegetto's sheer power.

You'd think if it was just a no-sell then he would avoid being turned into candy altogether instead of somehow magically having a brain and vocal chords as a jawbreaker. There's clearly something else going on there.

I wouldn't try to make logical sense of the magic candy beam.

I'm not going to assume something else is at work with literally no suggestion of that

Buu pretty much has to be pretty well outclassed by his enemy, or else he will just get up good as new. But if they are much stronger they can take him out before he has a chance.

So, just, fyi, I only know the Danzenshu is a thing because of you, Saiga, so, for the record, I'm actually absolutely pissed at you for what I perceive as an absolute about-face and betrayal of everything I thought you represented or stood for or were.

The Daizenshuu description is a lot vaguer than that. It's said that Vegetto has the special characteristic of his strength not changing if his shape does.

It would be easier to tie that to potara as a 'special characteristic' but it reads just like a property of Vegetto itself which really isn't an explanation but an observation.

So, the responses from you I was looking for or expecting or hoping for were either a groveling apology, or the opm "ok" meme◊ or a variant of that with Beerus.

I listened to Ajay's plot synopsis and I laughed at the "5 centimeters taller" wish Freeza wanted.

And that explains why Golden Freeza is 5 cm taller.

It's kinda funny looking at budokai 3 intro now that Gogeta VS Broly is canon

It's like Lanipator once said

"Everyone's fanfiction since budokai 3 are coming true!"

What's next, will Toriyama canonize Janemba now?

Considering the origins of this movie that is likely all things considered.

Shit lets see what he can do with Bojack.

Bojack should be canonized just so that he and his crew can get better characterization, motives, and actual personalities.

Bojack is just a green (greener?) Broly.

If anyone, Cooler is probably next on the "canonization list". Even if he's not actually referenced in this movie, it's pretty likely regardless.

Then I'd say it's actually Android 13 but not in any significant capacity. More like a "Yes he happened and yes he looked like that".

Well he’s also a pirate, complete with his own pirate ship & crew with a very popular female minion.

So there is stuff to work with there.

I wonder if Toriyama looking back on movie villains & being inspired will become a new thing now.

Is there anything compelling that Toriyama could possibly do with Bojack that just wouldn't be a blatant rehash?

I mean, he can't turn both Broly and Bojack good...

His Broly was a completely different character with no resemblance to the original in personality.

So yeah, he CAN make Bojack good by just doing something completely unrelated with him.

But also make sure he’s still all piratey.

Hell that’s all he needs to do, crank up the pirateyness up to eleven since the original movie never acknowledged it much.

His pirate ship got cut to a deleted scene for one.

Is there anything about Bojack that would warrant a revamp, though? Like Broly and Gogeta are ungodly popular and Cooler would introduce a new dynamic to Frieza but is there anything super interesting about Bojack besides Zangya and being the only movie villain Gohan beat on his own?

If you want space pirates you can just make some new ones.

He looks cool
