I'm surprised not more people are talking about the latest CyGames/Nintendo collaboration that just got released iOS/android.
For the uninitiated, it's an action-RPG mobage game with co-op features and is rather story driven. You have a main campaign you can play through with your canon party, or you can recruit new members via gatch mechanic. Each members have elemental strengths which provide buffs against certain enemies (Water beats fire, fire beats wind, wind beats water; light and shadow beat each other), and each can be equiped with upgradable weapons.
The main draw in this game appart from your ever increasing party are the dragons: they are also attained via the gatch mechanic, and they help power up your character by allowing them to transform to that dragon for a short period of time, increasing your attack power. All of your recruitable characters and dragons have story skits you can watch/unlock, too.
One thing I will say is, this must be one of the first mobage I have sunk plenty of hours too (I tried getting into FEH and F/GO, but it never really stuck with me). Dragalia strikes me as having more depth that it feels something I could be potentially be invested in the long run. The game even has some mini-resource building aspect as well. What's surprising is I have not spent a single cent on it (yet), but it's clear the game has some remarkably high production values (and catchy music by DAOKO to boot).
