Yeah Im playing as another character. Guess Ill use her then and put Pele on her.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Alright. so... anyone worth pulling in terms of adventurers and your thoughts on the new ones?
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Got me a Cerberus with all the Emblem Summon Tickets.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I honestly find the Gacha in this game very unappealing, actually. Like, there are obviously better units than others, but unless I'm really into the design/personality I basically only pull hoping for dragons to unbind/add to my list. Wyrmprints, as said before, are mostly pointless.
I think a major issue with this game is the idea that pulls are pointless.
We already know that all of the game's content can be cleared with easily-obtained 3 and 4 stars. Combined with the incredibly low pull rates for Adventurers (and dragons) and the very high pull rates for effectively useless wyrmprints, it mixes together to make players not want to pull. I fully expect even whales to stop spending as much money once they get all units that can clear any and all new content since new units are useless.
DL either needs to increase pull rates to encourage spending wyrmite, make wyrmprints actually matter, or make even more difficult content.
I have no reason to pull or spend money as long as I feel like I wont get what I want and it wont matter anyway.

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeThe game hasn't even been out for long. It takes time for meta where Five Stars matter to build up. Right now our teams need to actually level up to pose a threat to alone face bosses in events. And tbh it's quite generous so far for a new game with all the tickets and wyrmite given out. This curre t event gives out Nine Summon vouchers for players to use in the emblemd, when other Cygames like Granblue giving out that many tickets per one type of event is a recent thing. Much like Granblue you have to fight quite a few battles to get it too.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I'm not so sure about that. I've played a lot of mobile games and this is the only one where I felt that it didn't matter whether I pulled or not in terms of gameplay.
Like, if I just don't pull and don't get any 5 stars I'm not missing out on anything besides the characters.
And of course Wyrmprints are useless outside of event ones.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeA good number of other games are also far more along with their stories and updates than Dragalia, which is just starting out. FGO is a good example as you don't need five star units to beat content for a good while, and it's Camelot where not having a SSR for battle is a very bad idea.
Having Five Stars/SSR do make things a lot more easier in other ones though, whereas ones skill at handling units during battles in Dragalia is what makes Three or Four Star units useful. I've seen players with bigger stats than mine get get taken out pretty easily because they made the wrong mistakes in battle.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Keep in mind that the gacha isn't the only thing to spend money on here. Whales are spending hundreds a month on the monthly upgrade packs for Damascus bars and whatnot.
Yeah, raw stats mean less here than in most. Sure you can tank low-level stuff, but high-end content requires you to dodge, exploit i-frames, actually heal...
Side note but I feel dumb not realizing sooner that purple threat markers can't be dodged with skill i-frames.
I only learned the purple AOE distinction while doing the first raid boss. It's not something the game does a great job at teaching, imo.
I mean, it also doesn't teach you that skills give I-frames explicitly, either. Or that you can cancel out of the long final blow of a combo with a force strike.
You get I-Frames for dodging purple AOE if you've been knocked down too. Of course if your unit is already back up before the AOE finishes then sol.
Same for normal enemies when knocked on their asses from regular attack combos.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Ah man, I feel so bad. I was just hosting a title-winning Special Raid, and with literally three seconds before the boss died my phone asked about my network settings and bumped all my teammates.
Got my free daily summon ticket. Better use it.
Oh, hi Naveed.
I've got a 5* hero now.
Next event announced: a Wind-type Facility event (like Halloween). I'm glad, since the Sweet Retreat was great for raising up my facility level. Also it's nice that we seem to have our first real evil dragon antagonist.
Huh, I didn't expect another facility event until December. In any case, good thing I've been prepping a wind team on the side :x
I thought I'd need darkness next. Whoops. Oh well. Nidhogg will be useful eventually.
I'll probably have my wind team up to an adequate level once I get that facility. I'm saving my pulls for that banner, too.
Going through the first "What's Ahead for Dragalia" post, looks like these function similarly to the "Future of Granblue", so I think these'll be a monthly thing.
Chapter 7 with Phares' debut and the next High Dragon trial are scheduled for next month.
Oh boy, a campaign surrounding a doting older sister and younger brother...
Well, unlike the Halloween event, the reasoning as to why we're collecting stuff for the facility is rather flimsy and pointless: "We need the shrine to protect us from this wind Dragon on the Halidom! ...But we leave the Halidom anyways partway through the story and only come back after the dragon is befriended." At least the Sweet Retreat was a celebration structure, and the reason we needed to collect the event currency was to replenish what the story fiends ate.
But the Boss is way more forgiving in its attacks than the Halloween one, most of them have an unusual AoE that allows you to keep hitting it through them.
As for pulls, I got an event Wyrmprint and the younger bro with my 10-pull ticket, so I'm satisfied even if no actual 5*.
I got the sister, amazingly enough.
I got all the new stuff except Louise from the 10-pull ticket.
Garuda's dragon story fits really well with the event story
Well, I'm playing Melsa (the free character) who also has her own innate 50% sleep resist so I guess I've never seen it happen.
