Unsurprisingly, Skelly totally misread the situation and fucked up his one chance at working a deal with Leandro. Luckily he can save scum and try again since I assume this playthrough is coming to a painful end in the coming chapters. I wonder what the significance is that Saeron looks an awfully lot like Leandro in the picture book, maybe Leandro is actually the true heir of Saeron and the current imperial family is the monster masquerading?

I said this elsewhere, but if I was a betting boy I'd wager the best way to get Leo on his side is to use that token to earn the trust of the captain of the guard...e.g. Leo's girlfriend. Get HER to talk to him, since she literally seems to be the only thing the guy will listen to without going berserk at any given moment. And if she can be convinced that his life is in danger then Leo can be convinced.
The more we know of Leandro, the more I like the guy

The tension is killing me, is obvious that whatever happens at the chamber will be another turning point for Skelly's playthrough. Maybe after that, he and Leandro will finally be able to join forces.
I just binged through the latest chapters and man, I think we've gotten more plot developments in these past ten chapters than what we got in an entire year. Isaac continues to be the best character and his dynamic with Nanayu almost makes it look like they are Skelly's parents. Hopefully, she also becomes a permanent party member.
Leandro is a complete monster to be able to keep up with the Duke like this.

Her and Isaac completely forgetting about their objective once they got to the treasure was pretty funny, and it’s nice Isaac is back.
Honestly he’s been a great mentor for Skelly.

I've catched up to the latest chapter and like I know I should be sad for Leandro there, but I just can't get over Isaac's return and his sexy, sexy abs. Damn, Isaac and his sexy, sexy abs. Not to mention, I also keep reading his words when training Skelly as some sort of flirting. I never expected this manhwa of all manhwa to be the one that did me in.
Leandro just doesn't fuck around, at this point I would be down to read a spin-off focused on him. And turns out the conspiracy runs a lot deeper than we ever thought, eh?

Man, Isaac's talking skills are no joke.
Isaac casually snarking at Leo for a whole chapter was the unexpected best thing about this story arc so far.
Still annoyed that the five magical barriers surrounding the Duke that were so hyped up when the character first made an appearance weren't even mentioned when Leo took their head off like that.
Kind of surprised he didn't get any levels in Swordsmanship or Sword Energy. The Duke supposedly was better at both than Leo. But sure, time literally slowing down and some kind of weird vital areas homing technique are good too. Also, now the blue windows are trolling our poor hero too? But at least he has a bonus to using Masquerade now.
Additional observation: We still don't know the limits on the "inventory" system. Can it bypass magical wards or materials? If so it would be a fairly straight forward process to create a "hole" in the bottom of one of those tanks and "drain" all the ru-rium into the inventory space and then immediately "drain" it right over Skelly's head. A whole bathtub's worth of that crap would probably be enough to pick a new job I'd think. All of those tanks? He could probably quickly assume the powers of the Swordsman, Tracker and Lich all in one sitting. And it'd rob the Empire of a valuable power source across all timelines from here into the future.
Or it would summon up the OP demon knight monster again. That might not work out so well for him.
The goddess detected Isaac in Skelly's inventory even though he was in crow form and "asleep" so chances are they can't be used to cheat like that.
Looks like Skelly is going to have a conversation with Leandro. Really hoping for the best, but this run has been going too well so far.
