Well, that demon killed Megumi and Gojo's ancestors at the same time, Gojo's ancestor even had the particularly broken combo Gojo himself does. There's no assurance that the ancestor was as strong as Gojo, but remember Gojo said he could take on (fully-fledged) Sukuna. So it's not surprising whatsisname is capable of going toe-to-toe with 15-finger Sukuna (not that he seems particularly worried).

Really curious to learn exactly what Sukuna’s cursed technique. He’s been dangling hints about it in the chapter.

And today we have Yuuji almost giving in to despair upon seeing the carnage Sukuna caused, Nanami's swan song and a possible allusion to last words laying a curse — could Yuuji's grandpa have done this inadvertently?

Also wasn't Mei Mei fighting goto or something. If there is one thing I have to complain about is that there are so many fights going on that we haven't seen her in quite a while.

Sukuna really is one charismatic asshole. Props to Yuuji for bouncing back quick. He better destroy Mahito for killing off my favorite character.

Way more than 4 people, he just reduced 65k square meters to dust.

Hopefully Yuji finally wipes off Mahito's smug grin.

Forgot about him using his domain expansion. That panel really killed me, they were so hopeful and then dead...

Yeah, since his domain had a radius of 140 m, that covers about 61575,164 square meters. Shibuya has a population density of 14 679 people/km2, so rounding downwards were talking about 900 people cleaved to bits, more or less. All of which yuji felt personally due to the effect of a territory.

If the sorcerers didn't want Yuuji dead before, this definitely wouldn't help their case. And with Gojou trapped, he's got no protection anymore

I doubt those old coots would try anything right now, so as long as Gojou gets freed by the end of this arc Yuuji will be relatively in the clear.

But will he, is the question. It's kind of hard to guess what Gege is going to go with.

Though he'd probably beat their shits in if they did whenever he gets out.

I mean, even if Gojo gets out and is at full capacity (and I wouldn't bet the farm on that), Yuuji has given the elders a very good argument for his execution. It isn't even a case of asshole bureaucrats that have it out for him, Yuuji not being killed just resulted in dozens of deaths. Sure, Gojo could just pull the biggest stick card and force them into compliance, but would he? He likes Yuuji and considers rearing the new generation his duty, but would he burn all his bridges to save him from an arguably-reasonable sentence?

A big part of all this mess is to blame on the sorcerer elsers themselves though considering they were the ones that lost 10 sukuna fingers in one go.

He also arguably should never be left alone if he has the propensity to go berserk.

He should always have a handler around him to keep him in check in case someone wants to release Sukuna.
