By the way, for those who are caught up − is there a reason the little guy (Inumaki, I think…?) speaks only in cooking ingredients or is that just a gimmick?
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. He’s like a spellcaster. His words have immense power so whatever he says can cause a powerful attack.
So it’s why he limits himself to only saying ingredients so he doesn’t accidentally say something that can inadvertently cause a big boom.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Whether the big boom will be the environment or his own vocal cords is a different matter
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysReviving this
I caught up months ago and this has quickly become a new fav, taking MHA's sit next to BC.
The fight choreography is amazing especially the Choso stuff.
I think this current arc is the best JJK has been since Mahito's introductory arc, and the most recent chapter is straight up genius by revealing that Todo's delusions of nonexistent camaraderie was foreshadowing of some kind of latent curse power of Yuji's. It throws another interesting wrench into your otherwise standard shonen protagonist (along with Sukuna), and I really hope it is further developed.
Oh my God so those memories Ai Todo had of him & Yuji when they first fought wasn't just him being a batshit crazy fuck........ okay it was definitely him being a batshit crazy fuck but also Yuji influencing him.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."We're getting reveals of the anime soon-ish. I think there's a decent chance it'll take off significantly after the anime comes out, it's pretty popular in Japan.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.first trailer's out, looks pretty good

Animation looks great if cleaner than what I'm used to.
Really hope they animated the Yuta prequel since it's important to the plot and also I love Yuta way more than Yuuji lol
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysConsider me cautiously hyped.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.True, but it usually doesn't involve Mind Rape.
That's what they want you to think.
I’m curious what’s a good stopping point for the season, depending on whether it’s 1 cour or 2 cours.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."jinpei arc seems a good point if 1 cour, kyoto school arc if 2 cours, imo.

Reading volume 3 due to recently buying it, yeah if the season is single cour they could most likely end it on the Junpei arc.
It be a real powerful seasonal finisher due to how bleak & brutal the arc ended on. Mahito & Sukuna mocking Yuji over his bawling over Junpei’s horrible fate is really gonna hurt when fully voiced.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Doing a reread in preparation for the anime, at the Junpei arc now. The arcs get exponentially longer as the series goes on, huh. Gege's chapter commentaries (as compiled in the volumes) are hilarious.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.So I was thinking of doing a bit of cleanup on the character page. I was wondering, what's the best trope for describing Maki and Toji's powers? Specifically, they have no Jujutsu techniques (and in Toji's case, no cursed energy at all) but in exchange they have superhuman physical abilities. It's not quite Badass Normal because they do have supernatural powers, it's just a consolation prize for not being able to have the usual powerset. It isn't Charles Atlas Superpower because it didn't come from extreme training, but innate ability (and lack thereof). On an similar vein, does Gojo fit under Story-Breaker Power? It's pretty much a given that he'll win any fight he's in, the bad guys structure all their plans around avoiding or mitigating him and he's often travelling abroad so that he won't just swoop in and fix everything.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Magically Inept Fighter is the best fit I can think of for "no techniques, just superhuman physical abilities."
And I'd agree with Story-Breaker Power for Gojo, including a bit on how it's acknowledged in-universe by the lengths enemies go to ensure he can't use that power.
New chapter out The guy on the last panel looks familiar but I can't remember him..
Cowboys vs SamuraiRemember that group of curse user assassins? With the guy who took no damage from powerful hits and high damage from weak ones? That dude's some dead guy they summoned up, only for his power to be too much to control.
Not just any dude, it’s Fushiguro’s father that Gojo killed in the flashback arc.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Ah, thanks. I've been missing that since he got called up, whoops.

The very insane man that none of his crew likes with an obsession for idols & who is a true brother to Yuji.
