And up next is Gojou vs the Bagman who could clone himself and said clones are the real Bagman. But damn, the maid sorceress got kidnapped when Goujou saving Ryoko

Seems I got left behind...I'll see what I can do.

Chapter 70:

That was fast on saving the maid sorceress (Her name is Reiko btw) and the students seems enjoy themselves in Okinawa to make Reiko happy before fusing herself with Master Tengen. After the break, damn the ending though that Goujou got stabbed by a mercenary.

Chapter 71:

And up next is Goujou vs the mercenary and yeah...The mercenary is truly strong...Really really strong and I think he manages to defeat Goujou at the end.

That was a good fight. The countermeasures he had to Gojou's power were really clever.

Chapter 72:

Wait, Goujou died even though he was supposed to be alive in the present!? What kind of sorcery is this!!! Also, poor Reiko, what happened to her is just cruel.

Eh, even without being a flashback the protags aren't dead until you see a body. Dude's either lying or got bamboozled.

Referring to Getou or Goujou? Just asking

Gojo, on account of him being said to be dead, us not seeing the body, and you referencing his death in the post above mine that I was responding to. But it applies in all cases of heroes being said to be dead and not leaving bodies.

I just started this manga and i think I love Sukuna. There's something about his absolutely terrible gremlin personality that makes me laugh, kind of like what drew me to Izaya from durarara

I checked out the prequel manga and I kind of preferred Yuuta to Yuuji. He's just the level of weak willedness that naturally endears me.

And now I'm up to date. I should have read this ages ago, it's so fun!

Welp, shame about Mechamaru throwing up a death flag like that in the last chapter. Hope he's enjoying his unfucked body while it lasts.

He's been throwing so many flags I'll be impressed if it turns out to be a false alarm. If it was Kimetsu I'd have already said my prayers

At this point, any given Demon Slayer surviving is gonna be a pleasant surprise.

Chapter 73:

Getou vs the Assassin and oh man... The assassin was just way too powerful and managed to defeat Getou. Hopefully the next chapter won't be downer.

Chapter 74:

Aaaaaaaaaand Goujou is alive despite the Global Star cult or something like that retrieve Reiko's corpse first so that they could merge Tengen with impurities for reasons...But Goujou has become deranged due to the ritual he performed to revive himself and tried to fight against that assassin again.

Chapter 75:

And it went full Hunter X Hunter during Goujou vs Assassin fight lol. Though the assassin was defeated after all.

Chapter 76:

Getou is still alive and both Goujou and Getou managed to retrieve Reiko's dead body while the upper members of Star Cult or something like that ran away. Also yes, Goujou became the strongest and seems that Getou eating some curses took some toll in his sanity but still keep maintains it. Anyways, seems that we found Toudou's mom haha...

Chapter 77:

Tsukumo seems like a fun girl but shit! Killing all of the non-shamans to prevent curses to be born? That's a bad idea tbh. Then again, I guess this marks Getou's start of darkness as he killed 112 villagers during his mission to eradicate the curse emitted from the twins and he's still on the run.

Chapter 78:

Yeah, Getou now turns into the dark side and attempts to kill all of the non-shaman people much to Goujou's dismay. And yes, he also revived the Star Globe cult for his own purposes. In the meantime, Goujou found the little Fushiguro on the streets so yeah...

Chapter 79:

Aaaaaaand now back to the present day I guess? And it was soon revealed that Mechamaru sided with the bad guys all along so that he could get his body healed...That's a double oof but then again, he wasn't that of a good person to begin with I guess.
