Alright, just saw the 5th Episode:

So we now see Eiji's flashback and motivations on why he wants to help Ash, it's rather understandable albeit a little bit confusing. And right now they're on the raid to infiltrate some place called Cape Cod which reveals us about one of Golzine's nasty crime, human trafficking. And yeah, too bad that Golzine isn't killed yet, but right now he has a sanity slippage and then tried to bring Ash back to him and don't care if he's hurt so long as he's alive. In the same episode, we also knew what Banana Fish is, it's a name of a drug that would change the world, courtesy of Golzine. Next episode will feature Ash and co going to his hometown I guess but it's not somewhere in New York probably so yea...

Just seen Episode 6:

Seems that Ash's dad having some issues for him. Though luckily he vented it towards Eiji, Shorter, Lobo and Mr. Ibe... So that's why Ash became a little bit of an asshole that he is today. Though I would like to see the flashback of how Golzine find him. Also, feel a little bit sad that the girl from the dinner gets shot by one of Golzine men though. At the meantime, Golzine and another gang leader, Mr. Lee seemed to form an alliance so that they could capture Ash and co. While the latter are arriving at Los Angeles so yeah... And btw, there are several scenes that is totally different from the manga which is fine such as we don't see the killer face at the manga...But in the anime, we saw it or in the manga, there is a baseball team that come into Ash's dad's dinner while there isn't any in the anime...But that doesn't detract my enjoyment for the show so yeah...

Fuck I messed up for the previous episode that I saw. Anyways, just saw the seventh episode and read the chapter based on it:

Today's episode brings us Max Lobo's ex-wife. While it's still a good episode, it felt rather rushed after I read the manga. Still though, it was an interesting episode nonetheless and goddamn that ending! I hope Max's ex-wife and his son are okay. And something new I learn: Computers also exists in 1980s esp. In 1985

Unsho Ishizuka passed away, so I don’t know if he did most of the recording already.

Tragic. He was doing a great job as the Main Villain.

Yea... Feel bad for him :/ Hopefully he can rest peacefully in heavens.

Also, i wonder who will be a decent replacement to voice Dino Golzine. I think Akio Otsuka/Kenyu Horiuchi could be a close call.

Off-topic but I just noticed something about Dino Golzine's VA Unsho Ishizuka that passed away:

He is also the VA from the other anime that I watched... Juushinki Pandora. Oof, now how will they replaced him :/ He's still a great VA tbh so I'm not sure whose voice that could replicate him. The only one in my mind right now is Akio Otsuka but I'm still unsure :/

Alright, just saw Episode 8:

We now meet the founder of Banana Fish, Alexis Dawson. And needless to say, he deserved the two punches from Ibe and Lobo considered how he refuse to destroy it... Also, man, Abraham, the Chinese Gangsters and Golzine are such a scumbag that I want to bring myself to hate them. Especially the Chinese Gangster who abused the ex-wife of Lobo (Fuck that guy though, in the manga she was raped). Also, Abraham Dawson is a scumbag too, I rest my case. And not only that, we also know the huge plan on what will Golzine do with Banana Fish so that's something.

On the funnier side of things, Yut-Lung has now become an official trap just like Astolfo or Kanzaki. But I won't gonna deny that while he's still hatable, his Freudian Excuse is interesting I guess. But it's not enough for me to pity him.

Just watched Episode 9:

Poor Shorter. And hot damn! I never felt this angry and sad at the same time with another character. This time, it's three of them that made me infuriated... They're easily on my top 10 most hated character list this time. What they did to Shorter and Eiji kind of disgust me in a long run. Even more so then Yuuto from Twin Star Exorcists, Ellen from Witch's House or Zouken from Fate series or on par with them.

Slowly catching on. Man, episode 7 was funny with Jessica going MILF on Eiji and Ash.

Wonder if Jessica appears again later on in the manga though... I'm curious.

Episode 10:

Today's episode is about Shorter's gang and Ash's gang raiding the mansion and fortunately, most of the protagonists escape from Golzine's hands... And speaking of Golzine...God damn! He murders other people in the hotel to slake his own benefit...Fuck you **hole!!! And speaking of a-hole...Seeing Abe's death is pretty cathartic though I'm unsure if he could qualify as a CM but still... Also, I still feel bad for Shorter Wong's death. Gotta read the manga at a later time.

Episode 11:

Glad that this episode is a breather episode than before. We now know more about Ash's funny past and then Ash tries to break down Golzine's empire once and for all.
