Episode 8:

I feel really bad for Mikhail and so that's why he ended up following Yevgraf and his cronies. Also, seems that Yuliy will teamed up with a cowboy. Have to admit he looks pretty shady but Yuliy has no choice. Seems that it won't be the last thing we will see Ryoko and the Twins from Yevgraf's place show their skills in the battle. They solidified the Creepy Twins status for me tbh.

Also, remind me again why does the anime have a comparison with Owari no Seraph and Bungou Stray Dogs?

I'm late but Episode 9:

Yuliy's fighting with the twins is a bit short but ah well... And seems that Yuliy had an interesting convo with Ryoko and tries to found the Sirius Ark and his own dad. Meanwhile, Mikhail cant escape Yevgraf's clutches and next episode would be battle against the mad scientists.

I'm late to the party but I'll give my thoughts on the latest two episode soon once I finished watching it.

Episode 10:

More flashbacks regarding Yuliy's dad and man...The fight between the scientist was a bit anti-climatic but ah well. Also, so that's why the Vampires try to retrieve the Ark for so long. It's because some of them were infected but not sure about it.

Episode 11:

Holy crap Yevgraf is pretty nasty towards Mikhail. And Bishop being a vampire is a little bit obvious. But yeah, its horrifying that Yevgraf got the Ark first. And on the positive side, this is another time when Ryoko proves to be useful

Wow, that is not a good final episode. The editing is shit, with unclear action and poor continuity. The final boss's design is dumb, and it's concept trite. The animation isn't what it might be, and has a tendency to forget about what's going on (if the characters are flying it should look like it). The writing also has continuity issues. A major character has an abrupt change of personality. And this is the stuff that's unique to the episode, not the problems the series as a whole has

...So, yeah, I can't say I'll be recommending this one any time soon. There's some decent action in the first few episodes, but the writing is just so mediocre. The main issue is that there's really just enough plot for an average movie, so they padded the series out with plot threads that went nowhere, which their decision to try to be a political thriller only made more blatant. Relatedly, having an Imperial Japanese Army Intelligence Officer as a good guy would be horrifying if it appeared the writers had any actual knowledge of history. Took too long to explain what anyone was actually after (and the macguffin's powers never really were cleared up). The whole werewolf aspect of the Sirius was waaaaaaaay underplayed, which made the story treating them as other than human odd

So, Yevgraf doesn't care about his brethren anymore? Fair point. And the final battle is alright I guess. However, I really don't like when they killed off the best character. Dats a bit cliched if ya ask me. Also, seems that Yuliy forge a bit of a relationship with one of the twin Vampires and we don't know what current fate will holds for her. And in the end, Yuliy is going somewhere with his Ark on possession so yeah...

Anyways, thoughts on this? Decent anime, nothing special. It first start off great but I can understand why it went downhill in the later episodes. If only this anime is two cour episodes, it could have been great. At least in my opinion, but yeah...
