"That seems like a good idea" Strago responded.
And indeed they were successfully airlifted, one by one, over they slimy vines barrier.
By the time they crossed, however, it became obvious that more of the strange plants were present on the other half of town. But at least this time there was no vegetable wall blocking their way.
"...Ok, let's continue, but stay away from the plants, as much as possible" Strago said, rather unnecessarily.
But no sooner had he said so, than the plants came to them!

reached over to attack them!
"Watch out!!" Strago shouted, before shouting Flamethrower! and unleashing a stream of fire at one of the monsters, who went up in flames.

Marcia flies away from the plant as it launches a bunch of paralyzing spores her way. Despite breathing some in, Marcia still manages to get away in time.
She readies a Grenade and lobs one at the plant. It burns away.
"Phew! That was ... was a close o-one!"

...Plants? Croire was starting to wish they were a Red Mage at this point as they didn't exactly have much to bring to the table in terms of damage.
Well, aside from standing back and flinging another blast of magic/air from their Air Racket. Every bit helped, after all.

"Flamethrower!" Strago went. The spell only hit one foe at a time, but he was saving his mana, in case they ran into something more dangerous.
Luckily the others were just as effective as he was, and the skeletons were quickly done with.

"...I hope they rest in peace now" he mumbled, as he stared grimly at the undead's remains. "OK, let's explore around, see what we find."
After searching for a while, however, they found nothing of value.
Strago sighed. "Let go in deeper into the down"
Moments they later, after walking a few yards down a road, they found their way blocked by webs created by slimy spores.
"Uh, I don't know what those are but I don't want to touch them. Hmm, there seems to be no way around them. Any ideas?"
