An animated series from Vivienne Medrano, it follows the escapades of the princess of Hell as she tries to curb hell's overpopulation by creating the titular hotel to redeem souls and get them into heaven.

I mean, I.M.P are hired assassins. If someone wants you dead from beyond the grave you probably weren't that good a person
Evil Is Petty is a trope for a reason.
Well if you are a criminal of some kind you'd prolly want revenge on the people responsible for locking you up like a detective or a witness.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Since it was brought up what a Helluva Boss episode would be like from the perspective of I.M.P's target, I was immediately reminded of this one video that pretty much does that via a creepypasta fanfic.
Thus for relevancy and I guess entertainment, I'd like to share it. I don't think this was ever shared here before in this thread so I'm sharing it if anyone is interested.
Additionally, the same creator also did another similar horror story for Hazbin Hotel as well.
It would admittedly be a pretty funny juxtaposition for IMP's usual crass somewhat buffoonish antics to still be present, just in those horrifying bodies.
Vivienne: YOU CALLED?
(Vaggie reveal coming Tuesday!)

Isn't the Vaggie reveal supposed to be today?
Looks like they're giving her more of a "pirate" aesthetic, probably to explain her eyepatch.
I like how her hair now resembles the folded wings of a moth.
Wearing a red shirt this time
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."It helps because she had functionally zero actual moth imagery in her old design.
X4 I must say, Vaggie might have gone through the most radical design shifts out of all the main cast. From a gothic lolita back in the Zoophobia days, to her 80s look, to the pilot, and now Pirate Hotel Security.

Huh. Vaggie the Pirate Head of Security. Can't say I saw this coming. Cool look!

If the pirate theme is a thing and not us misinterpreting her being in a crow's nest simply because it's a cool visual, I could see her blessed spear getting replaced with a cutlass.
"It's just like... a series of overlapping curses..." - Flower Knight DakiniGotta admit, I'm a little on the fence about this. On the one hand, it is nice to get an update and Season 2 is coming a lot sooner than I anticipated. Plus it's good that the wait between future episodes won't be quite as long.
But on the flip side, it does feel like a bit of a cheat to learn after eight months of radio silence and building anticipation that Episode 8 doesn't add anything to the story and has basically been relegated to a pretty-on-the-eyes filler special. One that we still have no concrete date for.

I just know the fans are going to be obsessing over Little Stolas.

I don't think spoilers are necessary given that this is a teaser.
Maybe I'm just being too scared, concerned, or something but I just found this tweet from Viv that I think might need to be spread more in light of the apparent drama that has ensued from the recent Helluva Boss news.
From what I understand from the livestreams and etc. that I've seen, episode 8 of the first season of Helluva Boss is more or less finished but is being held back due to legal issues, probably a song or something. Whatever it may actually be, it's why Viv was forced to skip the episode, make an announcement, and clarify some things so that people won't be lost.
I guess my opinion is that it's okay to be upset and/or critical about a number of things like Episode 8 seeming like filler and/or that we're skipping an episode but it's best to not let such feelings become too much that it becomes straight up harassment.
It's an indie cartoon that we get for free and things like Out of Order is something that actually happens in the professional industry. Filler is also not automatically bad as it can provide other enjoyment besides narrative continuation. Things like lore, fleshing out characters, and etc. can happen in filler. The best recent example I guess I could cite is Episode 5 of Spy X Family which was pretty much all filler but expanded on what I understand being an anime only was originally an extremely mundane sequence in the original manga.
If anything Episode 8 of Helluva Boss season 1 at bare minimum based on trailers and such would be:
- Blitzo and Loona interaction
- An introduction to the Gluttony Ring
- A Hellhound party with lots of hellhound
- A fun additional plotline
- (Theorizing that it might be Loona and Octavia related based on this theory in regards to certain merch)
- Something that the animators worked their butts for
None of this necessarily ties to the main plot I guess but enriches the world.
Maybe on a related note, on various livestreams (excerpt) and what can be seen from season 1, the first season was an introductory season which introduces the various characters and season 2 is where the show is really going the play with them. Basically, season 1 of Helluva Boss is the Shire portion of the show.
Anyway, sorry for this post if it offended anyone. I'm just feeling scared and feel like I need to spread awareness as well as do a bit of defense. I don't know Viv but I'm scared of what the vitriol of entitled fans and extreme critics might do to a real person's mental health so I'm just trying to do what I think I could do.

Don't be sorry.
I get how some can get cranky that episode 8 is technically a lost episode until further notice or maybe because it doesn't continue from where Episode 7 left off and it means season 1 ended on a really bleak note, but getting harassed over something beyond your control is never okay.
And now I'm picturing Loona and Octavia having a girls night to the tune of "Happy Together" by The Turtles or "Friendship" by Tenacious D. Or like maybe female covers of those songs.
Actually, I think some speculated that there might've been some interaction with Hazbin characters that got A24's lawyers all fussy.
The legal issues could literally be about anything, but what's really important is that we need to back the hell away and give Vivienne some fucking breathing room. PLEASE.
Agreed. While I think some more transparency from Spindlehorse regarding what Episode 8 was actually about early on and not creating false expectations by labeling "Ozzie's" Part 1 of the finale would have prevented most of the backlash, we don't know whether or not there was a non-disclosure agreement preventing that from happening and creator harrassment is just disgusting.
I'm not even that upset by the shakeup, more slightly disappointed. There's been plenty of Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss fanworks and other fandoms to preoccupy my time with during the hiatus.

On the next Helluva Boss, we’ll be meeting King Pimon. AKA Stolas’ father.
Maybe but it could also end up making them less sympathetic, it's the reason why most of the people they're shown kill are Asshole Victims.
