I thought about adding an entry on Five Nights at Freddy's (2023) regarding the true antagonist, William Afton. He’s an unrepentant child murderer who callously stabs his own daughter in the stomach when she tries to protect Abby from him. I don’t know if anything else needs to be added to make the example work or if that statement is enough to justify the trope for the character.
