I found Mr. X more annoying to deal with. Mainly because your mobility is limited, enemies are everywhere to block your path, and any kind of noise will attract him towards you.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Right. I kinda prefer having freedom to poke around interspersed with moments of "NOPE"
At least Mr. X dies a lot sooner in Claire's story.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Welp, finished my first run of RE 3 remake today. That was a lot of fun.
Someone in the YMMV section claims that RE 3 remake was done by a different team. Any truth to this?
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order. It came out only 15 months after RE2make, some kind of division of labor is almost certainly necessary to achieve that.
I mean, wouldnt surprise me. I still think it holds up rather well, more actiony than 2 but thats an on purpose thing.
I think X was terrifying and easily one of my favorite elements of the game.
Much better use than Papa Baker.
His lack of personality sucked but he was a great threat.

Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. So I noticed if you keep downing Nemesis after you get weapon parts, he drops ammo like shotgun shells and flame rounds. Not really worth the hassle unless you been hoarding your hand grenades.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Heh, my first Resistance game went very smoothly. Helped the team, everyone got out alive.
But my second time I panicked since someone was downed a fair amount away from the exit and there was only 60 seconds left on the clock. Someone went back for her, but I panicked and left on my own... Laying on the guilt there.
Bleye knows Sabers.YOU MONSTER!
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!I needed to get Velma Dinkley out alive! And Mr. X was running around! I Did What I Had to Do!
Bleye knows Sabers.___
I love how Valerie is just Velma... everyone I know just calls her Velma XD
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Grain of salt, but we're getting our first alleged hints of Resident Evil 8 and they might seem...familiar to anyone who followed RE4's development.
Trying to keep things as spoiler-free as possible, but if you want the basic bullet points...:
- The title seems to tentatively be VILLAGE: RESIDENT EVIL or RESIDENT EVIL: VILLAGE. It's doing the thing 7's title did and weave roman numerals in the title. (The "VILL" in "Village" squeezes in VIII or "8".)
- The opening has Chris Redfield with an overhauled appearance.
- We're back as Ethan Winters, who seems to have gotten a stronger spine after RE7. Think of it as being in the same vein as Ash Williams.
- True to its name, the game's set in a snowy village.
- Speaking of RE4, remember how it had a bunch of demos and trailers that experimented with the supernatural, and ended up being called Resident Evil 3.5? We're going back there, folks! But now with...werewolves? Wolf Men?
All in all, the stuff being brought up sounds like this is going to be a weird one. It looks to be due for a release in early 2021, so we might hear more concrete stuff later this year...unless circumstances regarding the current pandemic changes that.

I like all of those things except for the choice of protagonist.

I'll believe it when I see it but werewolves are actually significantly less fantastical than several things we've seen in the series already.
Bleye knows Sabers.Since Ethan's the first RE protagonist I've experienced, I'm glad he's getting another shot to develop a personality of some kind.
It's been 3000 years…Also we should probably start looking for words that end in "ix" to find out what resident evil 9 will be called.
Crucifix? Transfix? Helix? Dominatrix? Suffix?

Bleye knows Sabers.Honestly that wouldnt surprise me, especially since even the R E3make had some serious serial escalation back towards the insanity of the action trilogy.
I thought Ethan was pretty much done by the end of 7 so if this is correct then it's interesting to see him return. Maybe considering Mia's old job that he will likely look into whoever she worked for and whatever the Connections are even supposed to be
Uni catI guess Chris gets a new look is the new running gag
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Okay so far my favorite moment in Resistance was when I was playing as Jan and, doing my thing, was taking out cameras and in the midst of that I saved a Velma from being zombie-grabbed three times in a row and then as I was going to finish off the camera I get grabbed by a zombie and the Velma runs off out of sight and dies.
That might sound salty but it's genuinely amusing.
