Well, since I was out for Christmas Break and offline, this came as a shock. Nice way to begin the new year.

Probably because the version with lyrics sucks and the lyricless version is superior.
They lyrics version isn't the main intro since Matt Braly didn't like the lyrics one.
But the "Welcome to Amphibia" version has a different tune than the instrumental theme song, whereas Sasha's version has the same tune.
I agree, but that has to sting.

I wonder when we're getting the second half of the season. I know a few months back the creator said we might have to wait until March but with the recent reveal of the episode titles for the rest of the season and the theme song takeover I'm kind of hoping we'll get it sooner.

Matt Braly mentioned season 2 possibly coming to Disney Plus in May. Since current cartoon seasons are put up at least 1 month after airing on TV, season 2 could end sometime in April at the latest. I predict the show could return sometime around February 27 and air the remaining season 2 episodes until April 24.

So something confusing is happening. There was that first tweet saying that new episodes return on Disney XD, but it was deleted. There was that second tweet saying that new episodes return on Disney Channel, but it was also deleted.
Now the correct tweet is out. Amphibia returns March 6 on Disney Channel.
