Winter 2018 Anime

Yeah, the anime has a weird tendency to make the scenes much more rapey than they need to be (it happens again in episode 4 with Momokino). It's a pity because outside of that, it's a pretty good adaptation.

I have no reason to care for Mei or her relationship with Yuzu. Honestly I ship Yuzu with Harumin even though I know it won't happen and those two are the ones carrying the show for me.

That's the case for most people I think, yes. Yuzu falling for Mei for seemingly no reason has aways been my main gripe.

…Regarding the rest of the shows, I must say that even though Violet has the best animation, in terms of directing, Yorimoi wipes the floor with everyone else so far − except maybe Fate/Extra, we'll see.

Yeah, the comedic timing and background gags in Yorimoi have just been great. Violet is very pretty, but hasn't done too much with its shots yet.

Finally found out why I found the Eva comparisons with Darling in the Franxx confusing. Because it seems to have closer similarities to FLCL.

…So, I thought it was just a fake rumour, but turns out Radiant really is getting an anime. A entirely Japanese anime, which baffles me.

Well, it's a French comic, known mostly in France (although it is published in Japan), so I expected it to be a Franco-Japanese collaboration.

Well, Deltora Quest's anime was fully done in Japan even though it was of Australian origin.

Why are you posting it here? That is really off topic.

To show an example of how Japan can handle an adaptation of something foreign without the need of cooperation with the country of origin.

And because Season threads are the closest thing to a fitting thread for anime announcements…

The last time that happened, we got the anime version of Lensman, an adaptation where the family of the original writer literally said they wanted to beat the anime staff with a softball bat.

Uhh that forgot like a bunch of shows and good shows too....

They are shows that interest him, and what he thinks are great, so i wouldn't try to say that if you are only trying to use your opinion to justify about how he "missed" some shows.
