In The Property of Hate, we see 2 characters called Toby and Click. It's possible that before Hero joined RGB, they were the Hero before they died.

In Toby's case, this is somewhat more probable. Toby sounds like a human name and his current form is a ragdoll, which resembles a human. We know from Toby himself that he was torn to pieces and stitched back together with his own nerves. Considering that he's stationed at the bridge (in Page 50), it's possible that he died early on, possibly by being torn apart by Fears.

Click's case is less probable but could still have happened. We see Click during Page 193, and that RGB clearly fears hims. Later on, we learn that Click believes that RGB is evil and tries to get Hero to shoot him. It's very possible that Click was once a human who believed that he that his actions were right. This probably meant that Click killed a lot of monsters during his journey before dying at the Baazar (which is where he's located).

Another thing to notice is how both of them act toward RGB. Toby is snarky and seems to find RGB's puns annoying. For what it's worth, his death (and resurrection) may have caused Toby to become rather bitter since he's now just a helpless ragdoll. It also doesn't help that he has to put up with RGB every-time he shows up (since it's implyed that RGB has gone through multiple cycles of the same quest).

Click on the other hand is much more hostile. Upon seeing RGB, his reaction is to hunt him down. It's possible that Click is seeking revenge on RGB for killing him (possibly by accident) hence why he's eager to take vengeance on him. However his need for revenge ends up being his undoing when Magnus redirects Click's laser attack at a crowd, causing them to attack Click in return by throwing him into the ocean.
