Karna sure talks arrogantly for a mere attack dog. Siegfried was such a weirdo. Who just goes and does everything he's asked to?

The fight was pretty cool, though not as good as the one in the previous episode. Apocrypha really does a good job of conveying just how strong the Servants are.

Mordred is hilarious. "I'm don't wanna go alone! I'll be bored!" And she even shows her softer side.

Frankenstein is cute. Also Caules is such a good brother. Nice to see magus siblings with a good relationship for a change.

Karna can afford to be arrogant. Not only is he the most powerful Servant of the war, I bet he could go toe-to-toe with Gilgamesh and possibly win.

Karna could have taken them both at once. Neither of them can really touch him.

Well if Karna get extremely lucky he might have shot on Gil. Than he would get finished by some random looser servant like Gilles or Angra, because he would loose his armor with half of his skin and wouldn't be able do sh*t to defend himself.

Well, It also assume Gil would be his ol' good arrogant self, but that's pretty safe bet.

Karna's armor is his skin. And without it he survived an A+ NP to the face.

Gil is outright wary of Karna. He wouldn't take him lightly. Karna still has a chance.

Exactly and he would have to give up his armour-slash-skin to unleash ultimate attack, considering Gil own armour can shrug A+++ anti-fortress NP like nothing he would need at least that much. And if he does it he would be on mercy to any noob who happen to be around.

I remember he got killed By Sieg out of all people, who finished him of even without NP

No, it can shrug off someone with B ranked strength hitting him with a pointy bit of metal. Excalibur isn't A+++ either. I'm not saying Karna would win, but you're really underestimating him and overestimating Gil.

Also Karna has eyebeams and nukes.

My bad Exalibur is only A++. Anyway in VN Gil shrugged it. Not to mention it actually tanked Enuma elish itself, when Avalon reversed it. That was it's end though. It seems to be weaker to physical hits yes as Hercs arrows managed chip it a little.

Karna has high divinity which means he has no counter to Enkidu and his armor canot even dream of tanking EA. In other hand VS can be only used sacrificing his armor which cripple him, where Gil can spam Enuma Elish pretty easily if he want (against Enkidu he did it seven times in row for example) and I think FSN he also used it several times. Also Karna has terrible luck, which pretty much means he is screwed from beginning.

Well, Karna chances might be better if he was summoned as launcher or Archer, but dunno.

You do realize only the beamu is A++ right? Otherwise it's just a nice sword. Karna without his armor survived a direct A+ NP and with it was almost entirely unaffected by another. Karna is one of the strongest Servants we've seen to date.

Launcher isn't even a thing. That's just what Jinako called him. He was also way weaker under her than he is in Apo, yet that's where Gil was wary of him. At his weakest.

I would appreciate some quote, because what I remember is Karna strip armor, but fail terribly kill anything because lol Achilles, then get decapitated without being able do anything.

I can be wrong, and if you can prove me I would be happy to know correct version for next time.

Later in the story Siegfried or maybe Sieg nail him with Balmung to the face and they only knock him off course. He's unharmed. He also basically ignores Vlad impaling him from the inside out and just sets himself on fire to get rid of the stakes inside him. In the Fox Tail manga Jinako stupidly used a Command Seal to make him use Vasavi Shakti and he gets hit with Galatine immediately afterward, which he survives.

Karna is amazing, but in Apocrypha, he's meant to be the Gilgamesh to be overcomed.

If it's not obvious by now, Apocrypha like all Fate series cribs from the original. Vasavi Shakti vs Akhilles Kosmos is basically Gae Bolg vs Rho Aias

Oh and how he loses to Siegfried after the clash, Karna attempts to use Brahmastra again because him and Sieg have been spamming their N Ps due their circumstances; but there's the mythological curse where it will fail him when most needed. So Siegfried copies Saber from the end of Fate and does a Balmung slash to get the kill before Karna recovers because there's a time limit due to Dead Count Shapeshifter. So it literally comes down to that lucky golden opportunity where he abuses timing because he's fucked if he doesn't.

Which makes this another case of how our protags had to cheat to beat Karna, just like myth!

I mean it makes sense that Karna's ludicrously strong, he's the son of a god.

Gordes really is a case study in why Magi who let their pride get the better of them and get uppity with their Servant don't end up well.
