Here's a rough translation of that magazine, saying some neat things about those moves:
- The upside-down double punch is an A and B move, and it's plus on block.
- The Rozie ki balls attack is an A and B move and is unblockable (most likely a command grab).
- The backflip attack barrage is an A and B move is invincible on start-up.
- His Kamehameha is a B move, and Goku can control whether he jumps forward or backward before firing it.
- Now to explain the A and B move mechanics. Goku has a command dash/dodge forward. He can cancel into this move out of any A move and cancel from it into any B move.
This character gimmick could be ABSURDLY good, depending on how it's implemented.

I just finished up the details of my idea for a Drunken Boxing rekka special move for Roshi, partially inspired by UI Goku's gimmick above:
236L/M/H: Drunken Boxing. A rekka special move. Ends after using four moves, except for S moves and 236H. Also ends if he's hit by an attack. Roshi's standing position during Drunken Boxing has a slight sway back and forth that can be influenced into subtle movement by pressing 4 or 6. Roshi can cancel out of Drunken Boxing by either inputting 236L/M or by jumping.
- 236X starter: A hiccup and stumbling walk. 236L moves forward, leaning his upper body way forward to dodge low attacks. 236M moves backward, leaning his upper body way back to dodge high attacks. 236H moves forward quickly and can cross-up the opponent.
- 6S: Forward stumble walk, leaning his upper body way forward to dodge low attacks.
- 4S: Backward stumble walk, leaning his upper body way back to dodge high attacks.
- 236H: A fast forward stumble walk that can cross-up the opponent.
- 5S: Spot-dodge. Can be canceled into from 6S or 4S.
- 5L: Knee to the stomach. Can be canceled into from 5S.
- 5M: Roshi turns around and does a backwards kick to the chin. Low. Can be canceled into from the 236M starter or 4S.
- 6M: Overhead hook punch to the top of the head. High. Can be canceled into from the 236L starter, 236H, or 6S.
- 5H: Roshi stumbles forward quickly and does a cross-up elbow to the back of head. Can be canceled into from the 236L starter, 236H, 5S, or 6S.
Can't wait for UI Goku to be super broken to the point people want him banned like GT Goku just so people can stop complainings its a repainted Goku with nothing new to the table.
Unlike SSGB & Base Goku, I actually think UI Goku is most justified of the Goku's alt that isn't GT Goku.
It should've been Kid Goku but that's just isn't going to be a thing at this point.
Patiently waiting for a Cooler edit in GBF Versus
Uni catHD gameplay screenshots of UI Goku. It's not too exciting, though, I think only two or three of them are actually new, most are what we already saw in V-Jump.
Okay, so I've been thinking, if they were to add Metal Cooler, what would be the best way to implement a Core Cooler move that drains the opponent's ki?
On a related topic to my previous post, I just finished a Metal Cooler moveset with everything except the Level 3, which I want to be that Core Cooler punch into ki drain, but I'm still trying to work out what would be the best way to make it work.
- j.6H: A command grab. Cooler grabs the opponent's ankle and swings them overhead to slam them down into the ground on the other side.
- 5S: Finger Blitz Barrage. Cooler holds his finger out and he shoots 6 small ki shots from it.
- 6S: A physical counter move where he takes a hit to the chest that causes him to skid back while grabbing the opponent's neck. He tightens his grip once before dropping them.
- j.6S: An aerial version of his physical counter move where he grabs the limb hitting him, falls down pinning the opponent, and puts his hand on the opponent's face to blast them with a Nest Ice point-blank.
Metal Cooler can summon himself as an assist character. You can summon as many Metal Coolers as you want as assists.
- 236L/M/H: Full-Metal Avalanche. A combo special move. Metal Cooler rushes forward, punches the opponent in the stomach, whacks them with his tail, spinning them in the air, knees them in the back, and shoots a shockwave with his palm to send them flying.
- 214L/M/H: Another Metal Cooler comes in to do various hits of Full-Metal Avalanche.
- 236S: Nest Ice. Cooler shoots a blue beam.
- 214S: Another Metal Cooler comes in to do Nest Ice.
- j.236L/M/H: Instant Transmission/Feint Crash. Feint Crash has Cooler teleport and punch the opponent in the face from above.
- j.214L/M/H: Another Metal Cooler comes in to do Instant Transmission/Feint Crash.
- j.236S: Supernova. Cooler quickly creates a giant orange ball of energy with one finger and throws it down.
- j.214S: Another Metal Cooler comes in to do Supernova.
- 236L+M or 236H+S Level 1: Lock-On Buster. A sparkly eye beam that creates a massive explosion.
Well, everything except a Level 3 and a bunch of normals, but I usually don't bother with those anyway.
7/10 not enough YEAH!
Uni catHe can scream YEEEAAAHHH while using Nest Ice, the beam move. Even better, imagine summoning 3 or 4 other Metal Coolers to use Nest Ice, all also screaming YEEEAAAHHH.
The "summon infinite Metal Coolers" gimmick is really the only reason I'm even a little interested in Metal Cooler as a character. Well, that and Core Cooler as a Level 3.

You would rather have a Cooler Alt rather than another movie character?
but meta cooler IS another movie character
Yea, that's clearly what I meant when it comes to movie characters altogether.
When it comes to movie characters, there's not many good options left. The ones who have a chance are Garlic Jr, Turles, Lord Slug, Metal Cooler, Android 13, Bojack, and Bio-Broly.
Garlic Jr, Android 13, and Bojack would all be pretty boring in terms of moveset. Bio-Broly would just be a clone of DBZ Broly, and we already have DBS Broly. I'd rather have King Piccolo than Lord Slug. Turles would only be interesting if they somehow worked the Tree of Might itself into his movepool.
Metal Cooler is the only movie villain left, and while he could have a fairly plain moveset, the idea that he can summon infinite Metal Coolers as assist characters makes him a much more interesting and worthwhile addition than any of the rest. Also, they could easily make him out of that 4th Form Cooler model that exists in the game for Cooler's intro that they're not really doing anything else with at the moment.
Alright, here's my idea for a Core Cooler Level 3 for Metal Cooler. Tell me if it seems too OP and in need of adjustment.
- 214L+M or 214H+S Level 3: Core Smash. Core Cooler forms behind Metal Cooler and punches the opponent. His fist unravels into wires which grab the opponent and drain their ki before he lets them go and leaves. The punch does 2,000 damage raw, 700 damage scaled. It drains up to 4 bars of ki, which are converted into half that much ki for Metal Cooler, and does 400 damage per bar of ki drained raw, 150 per bar scaled. Only drains full bars of ki. Max damage is 3,600 damage raw, 1,300 damage scaled.

Imagine the salt that would come out of Bio-Broly's inclusion.
I like Garlic Jr as a character and a villain, but he doesn't make a good fighting game character. He's just a big guy who does big guy stuff. He was one of those few characters even the Budokai games failed to do interesting things with when they tried.
That's a problem with pretty much all of them. They don't exhibit much personality in the way they fight, and the ones who did are already in the game.
I think the big thing Bio-Broly's movie inspires fight wise is the idea of there being a Goten-Trunks tag team character.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. How about Dr. Wheelo? He's obscure, sure, but he's very unique as far as these characters go.
It's been 3000 years…Too big.
Didn't stop Ridley tho.
Ridley is my favourite movie villain
Uni catWheelo isn't that much bigger than Magetta.
Who also happens to not be in the game, so maybe that wasn't the best example.
So the rest of the movie villains except for Hiredugarn & Wheelo
I disagree with them having a hypothetical boring moveset (especially the midget), but I don't particularly care for any of them except for 13 & Turles.
Well they could always have him summon the Spice Boys, but again I still don't really care.
You could say that's a problem with DB villains in general.
OMG, you're right! That was the only time they fought together!
The only other time Goten & Trunks fought together was Super Buu after they defuse, as Mighty Mask against 18, getting their ass kicked by Broly, & that one random snake in Super.

Making "The Big Punch" into a super makes sense since that was the most impactful moment in the fight against Jiren. Kinda giggling at how comically huge they made that Kamehameha at the end of it.
Wasn't expecting those Rozie energy balls but it's a good choice since that was a rad move.
