ITT: We Have All Become Pokémon

He called down "Alright, they are here." He didn't fly down from his perch on the mansion, but he kept looking behind him for some reason.

*Looks behind the Chatot.*

In front of the group is a rather big mansion... if it can even be called that now. It's clearly beaten down after years, possibly decades of neglect, with the roof almost entirely missing, shingles completely gone, and the door is missing as well, only a large hole where anyone can enter or leave. As for the mansion itself, you would get the feeling it would give off a posh aura if it was still in use. The roof (or what's left of it) is a nice shade of yellow, while the walls outside are a faded beige. The size is about 4 stories, and from 2 windows on each side, a piece of cardboard in the shape of a shield hangs from it.

"... This is the place? Looks kind of... in terrible shape." Finley asks the Chatot.

"What? This state of art!" He gave a very unironic grin as he waved his wing toward the building.

"Yeah, a 'state of the art' wreck…"

"So, what 'adventure' did you have planned here? There can't be too much of interest in here, can there? It looks like anything of value would have already been taken long ago."

"A few friends have not... er, shown up yet." He glared inside the mansion, as if angry that something wasn't happening yet.

Suddenly, out of the mansion, a Cubone runs out and over to the Chatot. "Ser Gilbet, where have you been?!" Upon getting a peek of the group, however, he reaches to his back and pulls out a clearly foam sword. "... And who are these outsiders you brought with you?"

He mumbled "Finally." under his breath then said "Thees is random assortment of Pokemon, comrade."

Upon seeing the Cubone draw a weapon, Mila tenses up in surprise only to relax as soon as she can tell that it's not metal.

"Hey! Why are you waving that around... wait a minute. I can't sense any ferromagnetism from it, is that foam?"

"F-FOAM?! Why I oughta..." the Cubone begins, "No, I must not let my anger get the better of me. My name is Ser Agibalt. I do not know why Ser Gilbet brought you here, so I will ask you now. Why have you come here?"

Supposedly it was because you and your friends were causing trouble...or something like that...

"Oh! So our reputation has been preceding us."

"R-Reputation? All we heard was that some pokemon had disrupted a traveling merchant. I think we might have the wrong people, given your... choice of weapons."

Did these pokemon really waylay a shipment? I can't imagine they'd get very far with weapons like those. Especially if they're using cardboard shields like the one up there...

"We have been asked by the city of Orichalcum to 'deal' with the troublemakers that have been affecting their business. Some of us wish to eviscerate the problem, others wish to erase their very existence from reality. I would not doubt their capability to do so, our group has already drawn blood this week."

As always, I stare impassively at the Cubone.

"Personally I have no opinion on the matter, but I would suggest you cooperate with us if you wish to remain unscathed."

Yeah, I have to agree. These guys pretty much are just street punks if anything, they don't deserve to die.

The Cubone folds his arms, seemingly deep in thought.

"The matter isn't up to me, you're going to have to talk to our leader."

"Leader? Where are they?"

Mila looks around the vicinity for anything resembling a stolen shipment.

"And what you do with the loot?"

"Hmm. Kids. Good thing I didn't send them to a different dimension after all."

"I will bring you to the leader, he will know what to do wi-" The Cubone pauses when hearing Sedmi. "Wh-What?"

"Apparently, she can send people into alternate dimensions, and I was supposed to be built to travel to them... but, they abandoned the whole thing when the first batch of porygon-Zs were made... huh... I wonder if I must have gained some extra memories..."

Also, I don't think we were quite sure what we were going to be dealing with when we got here.

(my nerves have subsided)
