ITT: We Have All Become Pokémon

Jack: I've eaten bigger meals before.

(A moment later, the Quilladin finishes Jack's sandwich and hands it to him.) And here you are. You must have some very resilient taste buds to be able to have two of these in a row. Even I can't have but one of these kinds of sandwiches. Enjoy!

Jack takes his meal and sits down

Jack: What can I say, I may have a cast-iron stomach for these things, possibly literally too since I'm a Steel-type.

I chug the bottle down and exhale. (That… is much… much better…)

"Well alright then, Jack."

Jack eats a third of the sandwich

Jack: Eh, still not spicy enough for me.

I scowl. ('Still not spicy enough-' Go to hell, Jackass…)

"Damn, Jack."

Mila trails behind Eliot, taking a slightly slower pace as she tries to remember any individuals who might have taken Eliot's belongings. The parts they'd gone through weren't terribly slummy, though she couldn't help but imagine how valuable a target the money would have been, especially as weakly protected as it was.

"We could always bring it up to the police, but I don't know if they'd be particularly inspired to help. Especially if we're not staying here much longer."

(While all of this is going on, Marsha suddenly wakes up in her chair and looks around the beach to make sure nothing is happening. She notices a crowd standing around one specific part of the beach in front of Delilah's chair.)

(Marsha jumps of her chair and runs over.) Hey! What's going on?

(Delilah turns. She is holding a seemingly unconscious Primarina in her arms.)

This Primarina just swam ashore from the ocean and collapsed on the sand.

They okay?

Yes, she just seems very exhausted.

(Marsha lightly slaps the Primarina's face.) Hey, Long-hair, you okay?

(The Primarina wakes up and looks around.)

M-Marsha? Delilah? (She asks.)

Uhhhh...how do you know our names?

I've never seen her befor-

Take me to wherever everyone is! Quick!

Define everyone!

(The Primarina leaps out of Delilah's arms without answering and begins hopping toward the boardwalk. Seeing Marlon and the others within the deli, she makes a beeline for the restaurant.)

(Marsha and Delilah shrug in confusion and begin following.)

Adrian notices the commotion on the beach and heads over to investigate.

"What's going on here?"

(The Primarina slams right into Marlon.)

Ooofff!!

"Yikes!" I fall over "Who are you?" I say, helping myself and the Primarina up.

It's me! Goobert! I can explain...this. Where's everyone else? There's a big problem...

Coulda had me fooled. And I thought my brother Benji was the shapeshifter. (Marsha whispers to Delilah.)

I'm serious. (I tell them.) Just...take me to wherever everyone else is. You come, too, Marsha. This involves you, too.

Whatever you say...hold down the fort, Delilah. (Marsha walks over.)

"Christ! What's going on, Goobert?"

Andy lurks amok the beach, and spots a primarina. "How you doin', cutie pie?"

"Shut up, Andy. Is she okay?"

Meanwhile, back at the band's still-in-progress-of-setting-up shop, the Eelektross was looking at their new sign

Ezekiel: Silvia.

Silvia: Yes?

Ezekiel: When I told you to put up the sign, I didn't tell you to install the first part of it upside down, which happens to be part of the name of the band! Instead of "Swoop", it now reads "Dooms"! Now everybody is going to think that we're some kind of funeral parlor!

Silvia: *blushing with embarrassment* Oops, my bad!

Noriaki jumps a bit from the appearance of the Primarina.

"... Goobert?"

Yep, I'm really Goobert you guys...It's a looooong story. (I say to everyone.) Benji and I got taken to this underwater castle because they thought we were stealing stuff from there, everything got cleared up, but when they took us to see their prince, a Manaphy, believe it or not, he went absolutely ballistic upon seeing us and I think his powers went out of control. I probably landed in the bodies of about seven or eight different Pokémon before I wound up as this Primarina.

Heart Swap, eh? I've heard of that, but didn't think it was a real move. (Marsha says, wryly) So where's Benji?

That's just it, they put them all in their dungeon, but they didn't check to make sure that the Goodra they were taking was actually me before they did, so now someone is stuck in my body in their dungeon with Benji and a few other guys. I tried to clear things up, but Manaphy refused to see anyone afterwards, so I couldn't think of anything else to do but swim all the way back here to get the help of you guys.

"Sounds like quite the predicament...", Noriaki noted, stroking his chin, "I'd be glad to assist you, Goobert. And I'm sure everyone else feels the same."

"Goobert.... I hope we can get this sorted out"

Andy's eyebrows raised. "Goobert?! Christ, you gotta male engine... but what's the model if you get my drift?"
