"Nothing, just glad to see everyone, I guess." I clear my throat, mentally calming down from that save. "So, guys, shall we head inside?"

Foxfell

Yeah, let’s go! (I say, heading inside.)

Well, we got the big guy out of a jam, stopped some more bad guys, and saved two islands from gettin’ blown to bits. (Marsha tells Dana.) So I reckon it went well.

Foxfell Castle

We had to deal with another person like L'Arachel. We'll explain more at the castle. (With that, I followed the rest into the palace. Hopefully, this will be the last time I'll have to deal with magic. For now at least.)

Castle

Whatever I would have wanted to say next to Dana was covered pretty damn well by the others, so I simply turn to move inside once more.

"The trip was fine. Not much opportunity to experience local culture since we had to give an ill-mannered Gorebyss a good thrashing, but we all came out mostly unscathed" said Noriaki.

"And yes, it would be best to head in now."

"Noriaki" Hikari whispered in a hushed tone, "About what you wanted to say before we left..."

"Ah, heh.... We can discuss it later, Hikari." he whispered back.

The Decidueye and Aromatisse followed the rest of the group.

Aria and I head in with the group, whatever she needs to see the majesties for.

(Why did magical powers fall into the um.... minds of those who abuse its power?)

Foxfell Castle

As the group enters the castle proper, they'd find themselves in a fairly large foyer, walls lined with paintings and the occasional sculpture or guard and halls going off in either direction to more parts of the building. At an upper landing, however, a familiar Braixen spots the mons just as they're working their way in. Making her way towards the stairs against the back wall, Autumn shouts her greeting to the others before she even reaches them.

"Oh, you're back! Mila told me you were here, I was about to ask the staff to get accommodations for all of you."

By this point, Autumn has reached the party, crossing the open space of the foyer and standing in front of the others as she sizes up both the new arrivals and the state of the more familiar faces to her.

"I guess I'll have to ask how things went for you later... is there anything you all needed from me or my pa— the... royal family?"

Foxfell Castle

Dana walks along with the others.

"Oh wow, that sounds pretty crazy.. You seem to have handled it pretty well though?"

The Castle

Back inside this place for the first time since....uh...the first time we came to Foxfell. Somehow it feels different from before, yet still the same. Perhaps it's because we're here under different circumstances.

Yeah, we did handle it okay enough, Dana, but...I still wonder if we made the right decisions. But then again making one wrong move would've resulted in two islands getting wiped off the map, so I'm not gonna complain.

And speaking of circumstances, there she is. Autumn. She's the sight for sore eyes here, and the one I need to speak to. Of course, about making sure that the doctor her family has is on call.

Autumn! Is the doctor you have here on call by any chance? My leg has gotten no better since we've left here but not like it had much chance to begin with... and now that we're back I need a proper fresh look at it.

As I follow everyone else inside, my eyes kept darting back to the little, snowy fox. However, now does not seem like a good time to make my move. Maybe after the others are all settled in.

Foxfell (Castle)

Autumn! Hey! It's so good to see you again! (Man, I feel like it's been ages since we've seen Autumn.)

"Pardon me, but is there an off chance that my 'escort' and I can request an audience with the royal family in private? Ariana inquire of the Braxien in our mist.

I stand in awe at the surroundings, not seeing this kind of thing back home.

Foxfell Castle

(At the very least, there's a familiar face waiting for us inside. I responded to the princess's question.) I just need some place to cool off. Yesterday was hell.

Noriaki took his hat off and took a bow. Hikari held her hat in both her hands and did a curtsy-like gesture bests he could with her occupied hands.

"Good to see you again, Miss Autumn" said Noriaki, getting back up. "As Marlon has already said, he would appreciate high-class medical attention. As for the rest of us, a spot for us to simply rest and perhaps recount to you what has transpired would do fine."

Foxfell Castle

"Doctor, doctor, ahh... there's a clinic far in the north wing. It's open to the public, but even my parents use it, you should be okay there."

Autumn gestures to her side as she answers Marlon's request, her gaze flicking down to his leg for a half-second before turning to stare down the hallway and clear her mind of the sight. The grimace on her face doesn't leave as quickly, however, still lingering even as she considers the mon she's never seen before and his request for an audience.

"I... I don't believe I know you. You could certainly ask them on your own time, though, they let the public come in with complaints and requests every few days. If you don't mind though, what do you want to bring up? I know enough to know whether or not they'll bother to entertain your ideas."

Shaking off her apprehensions about the requested audience, especially with the recent threat of Anastasia still looming in her mind, Autumn approaches Nori as the Decidueye speaks and whispers to him, quiet enough that she hopes nobody else will overhear.

"I'll hear about the events later, maybe from Mila or from everyone else, but— can you tell me who the new faces are? They have to be with you for a reason."

"More former humans, they told us" Noriaki whispered back, "Although I believe Madam Aria, the Kirlia there, is native if I recall correctly, though she's very close to one of the new faces you see."

The castle

North Wing....got it, thank you!

I direct myself in the direction she was pointing at and begin to hobble off in that particular direction. This was high enough on my priority list and although it could've waited, now's the time to get it done. I can recognize how there's probably something to be said about splitting from the group in an instance like this, but hey, we're long past needing to worry about any villains. This is our time to relax, rest up...the whole nine yards. I noticed Autumn's grimace, too, well...it's justified. I have no idea what that area even looks like right now...but it's probably not good.

Foxfell (Entry Room)

I'd bettah go with Marly. (Marsha says, following Marlon and helping him along.)

(You know, something about this Mawile and his Kirlia friend have kinda confused me ever since I first saw them after returning to normal and hearing the things they had to say, but I've never really bothered to ask anyone why yet. All I've gotten is that they're royalty from somewhere? I lean over to Grigori.) What is those two's deal, anyway? I forgot to ask any of you.

Foxfell (North Wing)

(In the North Wing is a door with a sign reading "Castle Medical Clinc" above it. A Braixen wearing a white vest is talking to a Herdier just in front of it.)

...so no, Mr. Pearson, it's only a slight back-ache. You'll be fine after getting plenty of rest. (The Braixen is saying.)

Oh thank you! Thank you so much! (Herdier says, heading off.)

(The Braixen then notices the Gallade and Swampert approaching.) Oh, hello there! May I help you two?

The North Wing

What I've been waiting for four days. Proper medical attention for this thing. But then again, what exactly am I going to say to this Doctor? He's gotta be good enough to help with this.

Well, it's quite hard to explain, but to cut it short...about four days ago my leg got impaled straight through the other side, and I have had almost no opportunity to get this properly checked out. Can you please help me get to the bottom of this? I'm...probably too late to save my ability to walk normally again, but still.

I turn myself to the other side so the Doctor can see the cast Adele had made, so at least he'd get a base level understanding.

Foxfell, the royal palace

So this creature is the princess, then. Seth can't help but notice that she's the same species as that fox who was really kind of nasty to him back at the beach. The princess seems friendly so far, at least - apparently prickliness is not a universal trait of this particular Pokemon, thank the Gods.

...he hasn't the first clue how to talk to royalty, vulpine or otherwise. So he just stands their, swivelling awkwardly in place as if constantly about to barge in with a comment, then thinking better of it.

(I was about to leave before the Goodra whispered a question about the Kirlia and Mawile. I responded to him quietly.) _{From what I heard, they were from a place called Asgardia. Place got leveled by someone with VA and they've been wandering around ever since.}

Foxfell (Castle Front)

(I start to chuckle when I hear the name of the place they're from (gosh, it sounds an awful lot like the place where Thor is from), but quickly stop when Grigori tells me that the place in question is gone. I feel sick to my stomach knowing that there's another place that didn't survive a VA outbreak.) Oh...oh man, that's awful...

Foxfell (Clinic)

(One could almost see the Braixen doctor's face going pale through his fur.) You WHAT?! And you've been living like this for four days?

(The Braixen opens the door.) Please come in here at once! We have to make sure you don't have any sort of infection!

The North Wing

The expected reaction. The doctor is shocked at what I told him. My heart skips a beat, though, at the mention of an infection. Hikari healed enough of my leg as it was, but the intervening days of not really even being able to rest my leg, and taking even more beatings didn't help. I follow suit and immediately try to explain myself.

Sir, trust me, there's a VERY logical explanation as to why I wasn't able to find actual help or rest my leg sooner.

Foxfell Castle

Dana apparently does not have anything better to do than eavesdrop, and chimes in.

"Wait, they're what from where?"

Braixen has been eavesdropping as well; since she figures that's the only way she's going to figure out what kind of mess she (And apparently like a hundred other people) is in. Unlike the absol, which is... swiveling around in circles? Whatever. Braixen already established that he has problems. She moves closer to him anyways, because being out in the open where everyone can plainly see her doesn't suit her fancy right now.

The absol's still fumbling around. Braixen does her best to ignore him. She folds her arms, stares dully ahead, and tries not to draw any attention to herself.
