"Well, to start off..." Finley looks in F's direction. "Do you remember me?"

"You're..."

"Finley, right?"

"Hey, nice going. As for the others, we got Dana and Andy teaming along, you didn't know them before. Other than that, not much."

"Okay. Fair. Which one's the small German-speaking bug?"

"That one is Andy... he's bizarre."

"And creepy."

Cyk hasn't spoken for some time. His brain seems a bit fried.

*Teller, reflecting on his recent losses, meticulously opens up at the mention of money, cautiously approaching the subject while still acting uninterested* Humans you say...

*his reads indicate Lars is, or at least thinks he is, loaded. Teller's decides, however, to be a bit difficult so as to get the most out of this transaction*

...indeed, some passers-by have mentioned, in one way or another, humans in pokemon form.

However... *he finally turns to the trio, with a stern, cold gaze in his eyes* ...it won't come cheap.

*Jani turns back to the uncovered holes, with a dark, dejected slump*

"I do not understand German. If someone could translate for me, that would be great."

"Cheap?! Pfah! Money is no object!" Lars says with great confidence, folding his arms. "If you can just give me the info I need, you can expect repayment post... uh... egh, what's the word again?"

"Bashamo," Bash suggests.

"No, you... word... less... bird thing! That ain't it!"

"Huh? Yeah it is," Max interjects.

"What?! 'You can expect repayment bashamo'? Maybe it's got the first two letters of 'back', but that ain't close enough, you pair of dunderheads!"

"That ain't what he said. He said 'posthaste'."

The Hakamo-O points at Max with his mouth open, as though he was about to retort, only to hold it like that for a good ten seconds as he realised he didn't have one. Instead, he groaned and turned back to Teller. "Yes, posthaste! Grrnnngghh..." he said, clearly irritated, beginning to fiddle with the emerald amulet he was wearing around his neck.

Having set a few traps in the surrounding area, Noriaki looks back to Cyk.

"... Are you sure you're alright?", he asked.

(I wake up. I see Cyk looking as though he saw what a Mimikyu actually looked like)

What happened? (I ask)

"Accidentally killed someone . A Weavile".

[Walking out with a paper and pencil and my restored hope in the world in hand, I head back into the foyer and look for a place to sit. Or maybe I could head back to the bedroom? Ooh!, or I could sit on the steps in front of the house! My tail swirling about in excitement, I bounce over to the front door and head outside.]

"You killed someone?"

From now on, I am going to have to watch Cyber.

"He started it"

"Whatever."

*Jani perks up at Noriaki having finished, and then asks him* Sorry to trouble you, Noriaki, but could you help cover these holes with the branches and leaves Cyk brought earlier? *she leans toward them*

I would myself, if I had like five hours to do so. *a sullen expression envelops her face*

*Teller nearly breaks face at the sheer stupidity of the fighting trio, but then gets down to brass tacks*

*he telekinetically "assists" the emerald off Max's(?) neck, sending it toward himself for an inspection* Hmm...

*spinning it around, he notes the rather inelegant craftsmanship, judging it to have been repurposed from a prior heirloom — the Emerald being quite real and valuable, with the other adornments barely worth two drinks*

A bit light for the royal entourage of Hoard...

*figuring it'll at least cover the free drinks the ex-human party had, he follows up on the longshot*

How about this. I'll keep this trinket as collateral. If you can promise me an, ahem...productive audience with your father, there is much I have been dying to discuss. Hoard's current export tariffs, in particular, along with a trade arrangement that his court might find...mutually beneficial. *he says, attempting to broker a deal on behalf of his Orichalcian merchant customers*

Noriaki went over and began covering up the holes as requested.

Andy defend himself, "I'm not creepy, I'm just more open than all you others are."

(The moment Cyk tells me this, my eyes widen in shock.)

You...what...? Buh...

"I just wanted to knock him out. However, I think I used too much power in my Moonblasts, and it threw him into some rocks.. I tried to heal him, but it was too late..."

Cyk is still in shock....

"I know I shouldn't feel so guilty. But I still do. I'm a monster...."

Cyk lies down and starts crying.

(A storm of thoughts flood into my mind. I understand it was an accident and Cyk even tried to help the guy but...just the thought of him being responsible for the death of another Pokémon, accident or not.... I begin wondering what would have happened if it had been me who had accidentally killed the Weavile. This leads to me realizing that all of us, not being used to being Pokémon, could potentially accidentally kill another one if we aren't careful, especially ones like me who became pseudo-legendaries.)

(I just stand in place staring vacantly as I think about this.)

"Woah, woah, woah, time out!" Lars said, making a 'T' gesture right in front of Teller's face. "I ain't some kinda trade dragon! I just came here to fight some humans! Arceus, is it too much to ask just to fight one measly human without havin' to jump through a buncha hoops?!" he rants, waving his arms all over the place. "Oh, an' furthermore, even if I was, who the hell d'ya think you are negotiatin' these... things with me? I mean, y'just an old bartender! Who promoted you to chief money-mon? I thought this was some anti-social backwater, anyways! Oh yeah, an' gimme back my freakin' emerald!"

"Just say 'yes' so we can get a move on, please? Max interrupts, walking in closer.

"Did I say you could talk? No, I didn't!" Lars says, turning around to point at her.

The Machoke turns to Bash, and they exchange knowing looks.

"Bashamo?" he says, shrugging. Max nods in reply.

"What'd he say this time?"

Instead of receiving an answer, Max leans on the counter, menacingly glaring right in Lars' face. Bash joins in soon afterwards, leaving Lars' cocky expression to falter. He began to fidget and nervously scratch the crest atop his head.

"Uh... hmm... w-well..." he says, turning back to Teller, slowly regaining his previous demeanour, "I guess I could talk to 'im. But I want my info first! ...Please."
