"Hello, shady looking guy…" I mumble in reference to the Scizor. I dunno if anyone else heard me, and I don't really care.

By this time I had caught up with them. I eyed the Scizor particularly.

Not too far in and already a bizarre mon is standing in...a bizarre way.

Should we talk to one of them?

Are we all gonna be going around as a group or are we going to split up—wait, looks like him going off answers that question.

Noriaki began advancing towards the direction he sees the Unfezant.

Not even bothering to state my intentions to the rest of the group, I immediately make my way towards to Scizor. Calmly and slowly, as to not draw attention. "... Hello."

I'm gonna head for that Venonat...

(We seem ta be splittin' up...I'm gonna go with Marly.)

Marsha and I make a move to begin heading for the Venonat, motioning for Dana and others not preoccupied with interrogating the two others to follow. I carefully approach.

[I furrow my brow at Kevin.] "And, and what, just get a crowd of people t'ask them whether or not they've seen anything? This ain't exactly like deliverin' cookies, we need this t'be...motivated, we need something of a lead or we're just gonna be spinning in circles tonight..."

[I try and think of another way...] "Well...the kid's parents're here, right? Through them, maybe we could retrace his steps, and as for the others, 'specially that, uhh, "mysterious lady", we could go t'any eyewitnesses and try 'n get a solid base for where she was 'n what she was doing here."

Blissparce, Hiveton-Milkett Monument

"Yes, thank you, Ms. Dala, for such a stirring speech. Now, citizens of Blissparce..." His wandering eye happens upon a few unfamiliar faces, and a couple of familiar though seldom seen ones as well. "...and...welcomed visitors, you are free to go. Thank you all for joining us for the commemoration of this memorial." With that, he hops down from the podium and slithers away, and the crowd begins to disperse, though some stay to gaze at the memorial in grief or longing, while others move close to find specific names or simply skim through a list's worth.

To be honest, I am really hungry... (I say. Gosh, having a Goodra's appetite is something else.)

So let's get somethin' tuh eat then, eh? (Benji says.) We'll decide what to do next while we're eatin'.

(He turns to Mia, Tiago, and Tiff.) You fellas lead thuh way!

Sim! Vamos! (Mia turns to get going and lead us to the cafe.)

The Venonat looks up to those approaching him.

"Oh... Hello there", he said, tipping his helmet like a hat, "Who're you guys?"

The Scizor looks up at Nyquil with an uninterested gaze.

"Beat it, kid", he said in a monotone voice.

Meanwhile, Noriaki manages to catch up with the Unfezant a bit of a distance away.

"Excuse me Madam...", he greeted with a bow, "Could I have a bit of your time to ask about something?"

The Unfezant normally would brush off anyone approaching her, but Noriaki's appearance and mannerism makes her feel he may be higher up than any other common stranger as she nods and gives him her attention.

I reply with an equal amount of monotony. "I'm just here for some quick information. Once I've gotten that, then I'll leave you be."

I spun around, and when I stopped spinning, I was in my tux. ”Castaway!”

Main Group [Narcia]

Okay, they noticed us. Time to make a move.

Marsha.

We need some information.

About some guy who came through Holstown earlier and caused a ruckus. Ya know anythin’ about dat? And perhaps anythin’ about some “magic power” he was given?

Holstown, those who stayed

(I observe the Cofagrigus try to knock on a door, while I look to Eliot and Dinah.)

Well, herein lies the problem. The kid’s family...they don’t exactly live in Holstown’s limits itself. But never fear, I do have a list of those who knew the boy very well outside of the parents who are in town-and we can knock out two birds with one stone by asking about both issues.

(As if on cue, I walk two blocks down from where we were previously, and I find on the doorstep of a modest home. I knock, motioning for Eliot, Dinah, Zeb, and everyone who’s with us to follow. A Sunflora appears.)

And who are you?

(I show the woman the missing mons poster. Her facial expression changes.)

You’re looking for the kid, huh?

(I decide to think on what I should say next, waiting for Eliot and Dinah to catch up.)

"Nice to meet you all, I'm Vinny", the Venonat said, "And... Ah. You want to know about that. Well, I wouldn't be able to tell you much, but I know I saw some Vespiquen lady going in to Dorian's office building near the town's center plaza. She was real beautiful, I gotta say... A-Anyway, apparently they had a meeting or something, I don't know what exactly went down, but after that I noticed that Dorian's goons seemed more...Ruthless and scary. That Hector especially, I heard he went to Holstown and... It was like he was invincible. I once lived there, you know."

"Ma'am, I must beseech you, this is an important matter", said Noriaki. He had been speaking to the Unfezant woman for a bit and she hadn't told him much of anything.

"Honestly what does it matter what some uncivilized child has wandered off and gotten himself in to?", said the Unfezant, making a movement as if she was about to walk away, "And you speak as if that dingy little village isn't an absolute eyesore on the map it shares with our city".

Noriaki sighed to himself, "You know, you can gild yourself with expensive metals and gems as much as you want, but your noble standing will never be able to override your commoner's soul."

The Unfezant turned around, looking a bit irritated.

"And what do you mean by that?!"

(It isn't long before we get to the cafe in question. It's a humble-looking wooden building with a grassy roof on top and a small water-y moat around it. A small footbridge goes across the moat to the entrance.)

Step carefully, now. The bridge is kinda old... (Mia warns us. She looks aside to Tiff and Tiago.) Surpreso Pappa não substituiu a passarela já. Todos os dias espero que ele se quebre sob meus pés.^*  Surprised he hasn't replaced the footbridge already. Every day I expect it to break under my feet.

(Fortunately, it holds us as we cross it. I hear it creaking audibly beneath my feet as I cross over it, but it holds. It even manages to hold Rich.)

(Inside, we come up to a shaking desk that seems to have somebody underneath it.)

Bzz? Who'zzz down there? (Maran asks.)

(Mia knocks on the desk. The desk rumbles a bit, and a Ludicolo pops up from underneath it.)

Oh! Mia! Welcome! (He chuckles.) What brings you and Tiago and Tiff all here? Want me to get your usuals?

Well, we're actually leading these visitors to the town here for a bite to eat. We'll be back later though, I bet! (Mia chuckles.)

Haha, fair enough! (Pappa laughs.)

(Mia then turns to us.) So...we're lookin' at at least a day before we finish repairing the boat. Will this be fine by you guys?

Not really! (Benji says.) I'm sure we'll occupy our time somehow, just sayin'!

Yeah, it's cool. We can find a place to stay here. (I say.)

(I notice that Delilah looks a bit worried that we'll probably be getting to Renata later than we thought. I lightly nuzzle her.) Don't worry, Del, hopefully this won't take too long.

I hope you're right, Goobert. (Delilah says.)

(Cortez grumbles.) Sassafrassinwannabemyoldgrownupselfagain...

Vespiquen...office in Center Plaza..

Seems like things are starting to click here. Whoever this Vespiquen lady is, I think...she must have the basic magic ability of a witch. I ask our interrogee (is that even a word?) and then Marsha and Castaway.

So there’s an office in center plaza in town here? Should we go in that general part of town? Dig around a bit? Though we do gotta be careful if we go there...he wouldn’t exactly be the happiest if he saw three random mons digging up info on him..

It’s your call, Marly. Ya sure ya want to take us dair, Vin?

Holstown, those who stayed

Well, I don’t know where the kid is...but I can tell you what I heard on that day.

I was working in the fields that day, when I just heard this buzzing noise. And then the noise just grew, and grew, and grew. And then...I observed a few mons with some Combee around them in the distance. I couldn’t make out who they were but..I think they’re related to that mysterious lady in some form.

Upon hearing mention of a place to stay Tiff turns back toward the others.

Yep! Our fancy little hotel is just down the way from our place! Our folks still live with us so you might get a chance to meet them!
