*turns to greet Finley* Hey! This town is amazing! Was it really built entirely by monst...Pokemon?

"I mean, who else would have made it?"

He turns his head to Eliot's direction. "What kinda weird stuff? Like, I'm gonna kill you in your sleep stuff?"

"...oh."

[Can't say I don't feel a little disappointed.] "I mean...it's a cool word, it's just...maybe it implies a little more than you want? Trust me, I've...ran into those issues before..."

[I look back over at Finley.] "...and I guess I kinda exaggerated...there..."

*to Finley* It's just that, even I know that normally they only say their names. I figured they were just dumb animals with superpowers.

*gets a good look at the panorama around her, before saying*

I'm actually a little tempted to go explore a little. I figure I could follow my own trail back if I get lost, but...is there anything I should watch out for?

Having naturally drifted to the edge of the conversation, Mila watches the others talk while chewing on one of the seeds she kept with her. Normally she wouldn't be a fan of the seeds, but being a rodent pokemon now seems to have changed her eating habits. However, on hearing Jani's plans she shuffles over slightly with an expression of worry.

"Well, we don't really know what's out there either. We didn't see much, but then we got attacked by a giant tree creature... I don't really want to think about it any more. Just be careful if you go out there, okay?"

Andy turned to Mila. "Quick question, is it courageous of incompetent to go out into the unknown? I'm taking a poll to see the most popular result." This guy's doing great. How'd you do it?

Mila tilts her head in confusion, and thinks for a moment before responding.

"I'm not sure what you mean... like is it something I admire? I guess it shows strength, but I'd rather be safe back here. I'm just worried that things will end poorly—"

Or is it that you want to be safe from your own mistakes? You can't avoid it forever, Mila. Maybe it'd be for the best to go back out there, prove that you really can do something right for once.

Andy the Joltik took quite note. "Welp, I don't know about any of you weaklings," he coughed twice, "Finley," he coughed again, "but I think it's the right and courageous thing; to go out there, in the face of the unknown. So, I feel it is only in my regularly perceived character to do the braver thing." The whole time, he kept Mila in immediate sight. Oh, I just made a personality with those new simulations, and I connected it genetically with a Joltik.

He finally fully turned to Mila. "You can stay behind if you'd like, though. I mean, who knows what's out there?"

*has a quizzical look* Oh, don't worry. I just meant exploring the town. I'd stop as soon as no buildings were on the horizon.

*to Andy* Shall we?

*heads toward the east side of town "above ground", aka leaving a trail behind herself. continues on the main road until she reaches a tavern*

*she enters the tavern, floorboards somehow self-mending as she digs through them, and notices a surly Alakazam behind the counter look at her suspiciously*

What'll you be havin'?

((OOC re: the Alakazam: If someone else wants to drive him, by all means. I for one certainly can't play an information factory given I've only been playing for a couple days.)

[I wave to Jani and the others as they leave, for whatever that's worth. Then, I turn my attention back to Noriaki.] "So...you may have been a butler back on Earth, eh? Or, I guess...actually, this could be a...a different world, that would be a, a good question to answer..."

(I re-enter the group, now inexplicably wearing a pair of glasses)

I can't believe they still have glasses here! (I take them off and look at them) I wonder what they're made of here...

I...I don't have any... *the Alakazam interrupts* money? Not a problem. Information is currency, and I have a feeling you lot have a lot to offer.

*the Alakazam is also casually reading their minds, and knows Jani doesn't know he can do so*

*as the smaller arrivals (note: as I'm not sure who, if anyone, is with me, this is future-proof statement) struggle to get onto the bar stools, the Alakazam telekinetically assists them up. Even the Diglett.◊*

Andy smiled. "This sure is a nice bar, Mr. Teller. It's just too bad that now all my uncle's money is kind of useless now... If you want info, I think we could supply, if you know what I mean."The only side effect is the growth was stunted.

(I see Jani's trail leading to a large tavern a fair way ahead of me. I follow the trail inside and find the others.)

(As I step inside, I feel the strange looks of the other patrons inside. I can't tell if it's because I'm now wearing glasses, because I'm a Goodra, or if they think I'm going to leave a mess in here because I am one. In any case, I sit down beside the others.)

There you guys are. (I say as I sit down with a splat.) What are you doing?

Andy piped up, bluntly, "Exchanging information for alcohol, or whatever Jani's having. You?" Yeah, but he was already small.

"Too late, you went there." [I laugh, but I'm also reminded of that...incident on the first day, where some of us said "TV Quips" instead of "TV Tropes" or whatever...I like to think it was a joke, but...I dunno...]

I just walked around town a bit, found some coins on the ground, and used them to buy these glasses. I remember wearing them as a human, so I just thought I'd get some for consistency's sake. And also so if I stumble upon any of my folks of they are out here, maybe they'll recognize me.

(I turn to the Alakazam at the counter) Say, can you or anyone else here make milkshakes?

*Teller turns to Goobert and says* Sure thing, though our Miltank supplies are running low. I can only make you one.

*Jani looks at the menu above the counter, notices a bunch of juices along with quite a few vodkas, martinis and others*

I'm looking for something that'll make this day make sense. Is the Passho Rawst Crush strong?

*Teller turns to Jani* It sure is, but with that body even the Chesto Wine would do it. Are you sure...

phew. anyone's free to drive Teller hehe. this is a lot to keep up with.

(As Teller prepares our drinks, I ask the first question that comes to mind to break the ice)

So...uh, are there any oceans or lakes nearby or something? We're kinda new here and unfamiliar with this general area.
