- More to do with Cygames in general, but Cygames very recently announced that they're establishing branches in America and Europe! Even cooler is that the head honchos they hired are former producers at Bandai Namco. Motohiro Okubo (the CEO of Cygames America) specifically produced Tekken 7 and Soulcalibur 6!

Wind Caro and Wind Cantate in today's Legfest.
Cantate is a sweetheart, but I have very mixed feelings about the event itself and the turns the plot took. Even if Ferruchio is 100% legit in... somehow, eventually, lowering the price of Cantate's instruments down to affordable levels, and I believe he is, I really don't like the argument that price sets quality rather than the other way around - especially when Cantate's wares are masterpieces. No one is going to hear them and say "wow, that violin sounds great, but it's only 200,000 rupies, so it must be garbage."
I felt sure that Cantate would prefer that ten or a hundred of her violins go to people of middling or even poor skill, than price herself out of the reach of someone who truly needs one. It might have made more sense to lean into the idea that Cantate didn't value her own comfort or material needs, and be convinced by Selfira showing her that people can give fair payment for fair work.
It's been fun.
