Guys, she's a haremette. She and Nariyuki gets tons of Ship Tease. She's not going to win, but she is 100% a love interest.

I don't see her that way atm. She gets into those Crazy Erotic Moments, but she hasn't shown as much of an interest as Ogata, Uruka or even Fumino- heck in the love game chapter she basically says "it ain't happening" and looks at the prospect mostly with disgust whenever it's brought up.

Though considering the kind of series this is the odds of her changing the tune of her drum are more than 10 percent.

This chapter annoyed me for reasons I can't quite pinpoint… Maybe because I feel we've been through the "Kirisu can't housewife without Nariyuki" gag a dozen times already… And as you pointed out, it's weird that Kirisu is pushed so much to the front when she's obviously not a serious contender.

…Still, I wish cooking classes in school were a thing in my country. That seems pretty useful.

Sensei is bad at a surprising number of things. Quite awkward too.

I don't really mind her chapters, as they are quite funny. It's when she takes over other girls stories, is when it feels like too much.

I dunno, is this Tsutsui being a clever little bird, or is this just the dude framing two different pages similarly? My money was on a -no contest- where Yuiga ends up with no one and they continue to chase for his pointy haired ass, but Furuhashi was always the one I pinned to get together with him if anyone was gonna.

Oh, that's way too close to be unintentional. Given that she was the forerunner already, the evidence just keeps piling up.

his character changed with the design too. He started out kind of harsh and a bit of a stick in the mud but now he's a bit more bumbling and flustered. i mean even more than usual.

The registered official website and twitter account coinciding with rumors on the grapevine have confirmed- BokuBen is getting an anime.

Which makes it the fifth anime announcement for a Jump series this year… it's pretty crazy.

By the way, I stumbled upon the "Shark Jumping Academy" chapter that I had missed somehow. I must say it's painfully accurate on some points. Especially the "only attend school festivals with fireworks" one, that was prophetic.

I don't think it's a punishment so much as the fact that Uruka already has a love in her life: swimming. She doesn't need Nariyuki to be happy, because she's got a passion that she's great at. Choosing swimming over a boyfriend is refreshingly mature, honestly.

@Shlugo, that's been the subtext ever since it was revealed that sensei used to be a professional figure skater.

I thought Sensei was the opposite of that? She chose not to pursue her talent of figure skating, and has regretted it ever since.
