Why is Ike on three banners right now?

Free +Atk Ike on the TT banner. Nice to fix my -Atk Ike. Recent good luck makes me scared to pull on the seasonal.

Edit: ...No blues. -Atk Fjorm. Why even have seasonals?

Shit, I got the dud result from a red pull. Bride Thraja, who doesn't even have especially good skill fodder. I think that's the only red result that I wouldn't be even slightly happy about.

I got...

Summer Taco Meat, with shitty IV's. Was hoping for Witchy Mia since I've already got a few flying archers, but... whatever. That's the luck of the gacha.

Also got Fjorm, no reds popped up on the circle and I didn't get any of this year's New Year units prior to now so I'm happy with what I got.

Two vanilla Ike banners and of course shitty mage and the wrong swordlord shows up.

Kagero... The green I most definitely didn't care about getting. Dammit, I should have pulled that single red or colorless. Aggressively meh.

Damn. That early V!Ike took my luck. Got freaking LA!Roy on the free seasonal. The ONLY Colorless I didn't want.

Got Summer Young Tiki, which would be more awesome if I didn't already have her. I guess I could merge if I can't think of anything else to do with her :x

I got Noire whichis very good due to her potential(and not being in the normal summoning pool) as a bonus I did some freepulls on the two banners sharing Ike and wound up with Sanaki

Got Halloween Mia. I don't know if she's worth building, but I'm glad I got a hero I actually wanted for once.

While snipping on the Onsen banner, I got pity broken by an Ophelia, not even with good IV. So now I have 2 of her. I think I might merge her and add her to an elite mage team.

Wanted a Christmas Eirika, got a booby bunny. Ah well, better than Summer Leo at least.

Also got Fjorm. Wanted Summer Tiki to merge her, but I also got 0 reds.

H!Mia and HS!Sakura are the only flying healers. Consider that flyers can go over anything that isn't a wall or AR structure and that Healers can get uncounterable damage (though of the two Sakura is easier to build) I'd say they'd be worth the investment. Plus Mia gets a weapon that can screw over Special-reliant teams.

Got my first Dancer Ryoma. The circle was 4 colorless and one blue, like the game was telling me something.

Daily BHB banner was a 5* Soren. Been meaning to get him some merges.

Wanted to pull red for either Myrrh or Micaiah. Four greens and a colourless. Okay, at least it wasn't all blue. Pull green for Fae or Elincia. Another Bride Sanaki. RIP.

Man, all the armor I'm getting lately seems designed to finally make me give in and make that Armor Emblem team I've been putting off. I've got plenty of good candidates (H!Jakob, H!Henry, Fell!Robin, C!Chrom, Zelgius, Black Knight, H!Kagero, L!Tiki...) and access to Armor March, lots of Wary Fighter, Hone/Ward Armor, but...eh. Is there any case where an armor team is preferable to a non-armor team? Is it even worth?

Also, switching the percentage of 4* and 3* when summoning back in the day was a good choice, but they really need to demote more units into the lower pool. You end up pulling the same units over and over when you're not getting a 5*, and a large portion of them don't even have great SI. Certain merges are relatively easy to get, but...eh, I'd like a little more variety after seeing the fiftieth Laslow, Abel and Corrin duo.

Armour teams are generally preferable for the highest tiers of play. Scoring aside, the newest stuff, like L!Tiki are so power creeped that they're among the few units (sometimes with significant investment required) that can survive the disgusting six-unit kill zones set up from T19 and onward. In short, you win a lot more engagements because your stats are just way better than the enemy's—especially when it's 180-BST armours against Gen 1 horse spam.

Hey Laslow's actually a pretty good SI pull. Surtr's everywhere in both AR and AA and coupling that with armourslayer or a strong red mage takes a giant dump on him. Abel's also a pretty good SI pull, though a bit less now that people have moved on from spamming Ayra and Zelgius to spamming H!Myrrh. Still, I see Zelgius crop up every now and then and Swordbreaker makes him significantly less threatening. On certain seasons, it's also useful for bringing down the L!Ryomas, who otherwise massively outspeeds any budget counter.

EDIT: Oh, and the Corrins aren't exactly bad, either, though M!Corrin is admittedly pretty bad for SI. F!Corrin has Hone Atk 3, which, while dated, is still something that helps just about anyone. Draconic Aura is also an okay inheritance. M!Corrin's not especially good for SI (Dragon Fang takes so long to charge), but a 5* one with refined Yato and a couple drives makes for a super good support for a particular mega tank.

Huh, I'm gonna invest in Armor Emblem. Which are the strongest picks of mine for it? L!Tiki is a shoe-in and Zelgius is better than BK from what I understand. Should I go with H!Kagero, C!Chrom, Fell!Robin or H!Henry? (I've got a lot of green armors, geez...) Fourth spot is probably gonna be H!Jakob to cover fliers and such.

I tend to ignore the breaker skills with the exception of, say, Swordbreaker on my swordlords to let them kill opposing swordlords, since most of the time I just throw an effective unit against the DC guys. Like, Hector is never a problem for me with Celica, Reinhardt just takes care of BK/Zelgius, etc. Of course I am in Tier 15 so I haven't gotten to the very top of the game where the merges and crazy stat buffs are quite yet.

Oh yeah, Hone Attack. Can't believe I forgot about that. I always tend to ignore things other than Hone Speed, which I have on a lot of people due to the copious amounts of 4* Eirika I've gotten. I should slap Hone Attack on people when I lack for other C skill options...

Grima is probably your best bet, though if you lack armor march Henry might be worth considering.

Yup, no Armor March except on Henry. Mark that one down for another skill that needs to be inheritable from at least a 4*...

Grima seems generally better, but...mobility is important. I could always swap them out as I see fit, I guess. Thanks.

H!Henry is also a more versatile mixed bait unit. Grima will definitely fare better in pure physical combat, though.

In general, L!Tiki will be your strongest unit. For the most part, when properly buffed, she can handle even many greens. Zelgius is good for covering the ones she can't, though (mostly just the other super armours, like Ephraim, the newer Hectors and Surtr).

H!Jakob is only really good if you can afford either of his really expensive builds—Guard Bow, Distant Defense 9; or Brave Bow+, Bold Fighter, Ignis. If you can't do that, consider just running Henry and Grima together.

Fair on the breakers, though Axebreaker and Lancebreaker are still for sure worth having in your back pocket if you want have ways of bypassing Wary Fighter or stuffing up Bold Fighter when baiting.

Definitely can't afford that H!Jakob build, lol. That's a lot of inheritance I don't have. H!Henry and Grima it is. If only I had a a spare Takumi for Close Counter so the entire team would be a threat at all ranges.

Hmm, I could always just fodder off these breaker units to have a backup build on some of my more commonly used units. Not like they're doing anything else anyway.
