Fire Emblem Heroes

It's an in-built Miracle that doesn't require dealing with the 5-action charge normally associated with it. It also lets him run an offensive special alongside it. That and the Atk/Def Bond 3 fit quite well with the idea of him tanking. The problem? This is just kind of a patchwork attempt to fix him when the main issue is that he had too much of his stat allocation put into HP. It's still a real hard sell to deploy him.

Not to mention, it still has to compete with Divine Tyrfing.

It's not terrible, but...

Divine Tyrfing is strictly anti-magic. The Tyrfing innate Miracle protects him from attackers of all kinds. He's gonna have difficulty making a decisive counterattack, though.

Actually, I just thought of a really mean role he could fill: as the leading unit on an Aether Raids defense. He runs out, gets himself mashed down to Miracle, then his entire team warps in around him.

Could this be the only use in the game for the Vengeance special?

Any restrictions on Sturdy Impact?

To be fair, Rein very much prefers DB 4 over Sturdy Impact, since his shtick is hitting things so hard (twice!) they die before they even have a chance to hit him back. Armors would break even more with that skill, though, so I think it's better that they can't access it. They are already broken enough with just Steady Stance 4.

Seliph looks a lot more viable than he did before. I guess everyone wanted to be overpowered as Alm's.

All these refines & they still refuse to fix inventory problem. Typical

What? No one is running low Refining Stones?

First of all, I would not at all describe that as an "inventory problem" or even a "Dew problem" which to me makes it sound like you're talking about a bug.

Second, I have like 1000 extra refining stones at all times and frankly the main annoyance is that I have to waste them on totally random things I'll never use just to upgrade people's Prf weapons with dew.

& I have barely over 800 Refining Stones & I get 50 dew each time. I can only give 4 of them weapon refines.

Also if you're going to tell how to phrase things better (which I really don't mind) then by all means tell me how

"Only 4" when they are only introducing 4 refines. You do realize you don't have to refine every single weapon at all times, right?

This is like complaining that they don't give us enough feathers to make every single gacha pull into a 5*. Like, duh? That's not a problem, that's game design. Invest in the characters you like. Don't pull on banners you hate. That's literally the entire game.

As for the phrasing, it's just that "the X problem" implies it's something we're all familiar with already, like we've already been talking about it in the past. You could've just said "they don't give us enough dew" and that would be clear even if we disagree.

It's not just them, I have over 10 characters that needs divine dew & not refine stones

Tailtiu's prf being refined to just get Darting Blow 3 is really boring. Like they could have made it Swift Sparrow 2 or something. A Wrath tome is cool, though.

Julia and Deirdre won out here, I think. Julia in particular looks like a fine Arena Assault pick for fighting Dragon Emblem since she has easy access to CC.

I will agree there is a bottleneck between Dew and Stones. I find myself scraping the bottom of stuff that need Stones whereas I have a backlog of people who want Dew. It doesn't help refineable weapons often go hand-in-hand with Feather requirements (i.e. most of the time, you're promoting fodder).

Wrath tome is nice, but I can see folks sticking to Blarblade honestly. She's got options. Deirdre is fantastic; there's only so many units that have higher RES than her.

Eh, Deidre only has 35 base res and she needs to be 3 or more than them to proc it, so the cutoff is really 32. 32 is not an especially impressive amount of res anymore, which means her skill doesn't proc against most armors, for example.

I mean, it's a good buff but I think you have to be careful not to assume that it's just always on.

Give her Fury and Chill Res support. Problem solved.

Plus most dragons already have less Res than her.

...Who said anything about dragons?

Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm way too lazy to bother matching teams to opponents, so if someone's not generically useful in all situations I probably won't consider using them.
