Yeah all the Christmas in Japan trivia is neat but i'm no closer to answering my question regarding whether or not there is a cabal of gacha rollers that specifically want lots of holiday-themed heroes. Oh well!

Well, it's still waifus in sexy outfits, so, y'know. And for those who that doesn't do anything for, the Xmas armours also tend to be among the most power creepy stuff for the year.

Did a full circle myself. Nothing 5*, but another Libra showed up. Just 2 more copies to +10. Also, just one more copy of Reyson for a Green Duel +10 Arena singer. Game, please.

Actual religious figures who are part of such holidays also exist in many of these Gacha games. Saint Starfall in Dragalia Lost, Santa in Granblue(One tome Loki and Fenrir ate his reindeer to ruin Christmas).

Sothis in particular has an entire religion with the trappings of Christianity about it.

Really frustrating for me that my regular Marth and Jaffar are not useful as bonus units in this Tempest Trials on the higher diificulties.

Yeah I just pulled a 5* Jaffar myself and he seems pretty... Basic.

Also apparently Zephiel is just 100% aware of Sothis' status and nobody bats an eye.

Hey, she also brought Pulse Smoke into the normal summoning pool, which is a godsend ability for AR.

I somehow got a Nino. Should i get any of her skills?

Well, Bold Fighter and Armor March are always in demand, but there's better sources fort hat and her stat line is pretty silly, so I'd recommend just using her.

I could never sacrifice an exclusive 5* solely for their skill.

That's going to be my excuse to quit FEH for good if I ever did that.

An invested merge project will generally benefit way more from high-end skills, though. Like, my Fjorm +10 with Bonus Doubler (L!Roy), Null Follow-Up (L!Alm) and Pulse Smoke (Igrene) is a massive death juggernaut. Granted, those units are all pretty good at what they do, but none of them would have been able to super tank like my Fjorm (even though that L!Roy would be pretty decent at it, he'd be disadvantaged compared to Fjorm by being red, as well as a deficit of 10 merges and 10 flowers).

My BK +10 is a murder monster because he got Bold Fighter from a B!Hector so he can proc Black Luna pretty much every combat.

Yea, I can never do that.

No matter how much I hate Surtr I wouldn't want to sack him for his Steady Stance.

BK needs Bold Fighter, I thought he was already fast enough?

He very much enjoys the Special charge rate increase (because Black Luna is pretty busted with it), plus Bold Fighter with high Spd also gives him the added benefit of being able to thumb his nose at stuff that negates follow-up attacks, like Wary Fighter.

Why is it called Black Luna and not Eclipse?

I guess they must have just changed their mind on the translation.

Meanwhile I have my fingers crossed for a Legendary Black Knight hero who does have Eclipse.

Eclipse (3 Charge): Does 208 damage to your opponent. They are now dead forever.

It was always Black Luna in Japanese, Eclipse was just a liberty taken by the translators in FE 9/10.

A nice liberty, sure, but I guess they wanted to standardize it.

Welp, about three years of playing this game and I've finally completed my +10 Camilla◊. Should clarify that she's +Speed, I feel that works best for her. Her S-Support aside from the summoner is Hinoka, who's running Hone Fliers.
