x3 Well, the nice thing about those Surtrs is that Steady Stance 4 is a pretty ridiculous ability. If you have other units you favour, it'd make a fine inheritance for them. Duma can also provide Bold Fighter if you've got other armours you like more.

Heh, yeah, I've had a number of those to a lesser extent in my quest for Fjorm. It started with Brave Lucina (wasn't that invested in the alt, but I didn't mind one... and proceeded to get her to +3), then continued with Summer Camilla (decent fodder, but really didn't care for her). More borderline is the multitude of Brave Hectors and L!Azuras. I wanted both and extra copies are technically good for fodder (or making a jackass Aether defense with 2 L!Azuras >.>), so I can't really complain (though, as much as Bold Fighter fodder is cool, it's a little annoying that Brave Hector's DC is a prf DC, useful as it is in actual combat).

Celica caught a cold, so the dance troupe needed a backup member in her stead. Julia trained very hard for this, as it had always been her dream to be a dancer. Right when she was about to win, Nino swept in and won the whole competition without any effort, earning her a spot on the troupe. Julia uh, did not take it well.

Celica wasn't going to work without too much finicking, but my Nino is stronger statistically. All she needed was Savage Blow, Brazen Atk/Spd Seal, Luna over Aether, and additional Spur and Drive Atk support from her dancers. Julia herself was a tough nut to crack, but out of combat buffs always come through in a pinch.

So I pulled a Spring Bruno from the Legendary banner and all I can really say is...what are they trying to do here?

His staff seems like an attempt work with having a push skill. And his push skill lines up with his best stats, but then they give him Dazzling Staff so his defense really doesn't matter on PP. His speed is garbage, but since his staff is only a per turn heal you can't turn him into a bow/dagger baiting unit. Also no debuff effect on his weapon in a class that lives and dies by inflicting debuffs...

Feels like they almost had a decent idea but it didn't quite work.

x2 Please let it just be someone tiny like Nino. I'm not sure I could take a Bartre or full-grown pegasus to the face.

Sharena's apparently gone generic genki girl, but I still want to hug her. Veronica has some weird... air chair thing going on? Also, I noticed Hrid and Helbindi have a bit of an extra bishy slant to them. Also, also, Gunnthra is oddly squat there (despite at least seeming freakishly tall in her normal art).

Wish the Askrs would get some love. Sharena's Dull All refine actually has the potential to be extremely strong, but basically everything else about her situation holds her back.

EDIT: It's goofy first and foremost, which is a little weird, but I guess were probably banking more on "sexy bunny Bruno" as a thing than giving him any kind of crazy kit. Granted, staves are in a weird situation where it's really hard to be anything powerful. Veronica and Mia seem like the only ones who can get away with not being converted to a generic Gravity+ or Pain+ build (assuming the unit doesn't start life as that—and I'd include Brave Camilla here, since she's basically just a super Gravity+er). I guess Panic+ is also a thing if you're into running a troll cav line for AR def, but eh.

There's some questionable choices in that art, just from a technical standpoint. A couple characters should probably have a smaller head to look taller, and why is Surtr shot from above like that? That makes things look less imposing, and Surtr's whole thing is that he's a giant scary fortress of a man. And yeah, Helbindi looks like he's been prettied up a bit.

Good news is it's small. Bad news is that's because Amelia's small, even in full armor.

With the fact that certain banners are ending in a few days, how are the odds of the Three lords and Byleth coming back in rotation. Also i have still failed to get Julia, Gacha is a risky game.

Unless we're getting seasonal versions of them so soon, not likely at all. It's also pretty unlikely that the new banner after that one will feature them (though I guess IS could get jumpy and do time skip version that soon, but that doesn't sound like what you're aiming for). We're still in roughly April for unit reruns for the next mythic banner, too, so you might be waiting a while there (probably roughly November's).

This banner hates me. I've only gotten Like and bad fodder.

Fully buffed CC-Vantage Nino is hilariously stupid during Astra season. With Naga's anti-dragon buff, she has no fear of tanky dragons, which, aside from maybe L!Julia, are the only thing that aren't Hardy Bearing effects that might normally get in the way. I'm actually running into the problem where she's too good at her job and kills all six enemies in one turn. Granted, I guess missing a few pots to easily clear an ugly formation, since a lot of people just don't even try on Astra, so scoring competition is super lax. Anyway, my favourite part of this is that if I face multiple Dumas with their Upheaval on, they set up Vantage for me.

Two range also means that if there's a single Hardy Bearing user, my multiple Smites can let her get in range to pick it off. I'm going to miss that flexibility next season when my Vantage runner is Ares. He's a lot less reliant on buffs, but he can't snipe Hardy Bearing as easily.
