Is it just me, or does it look like its even worse in terms of graphics then last time? And that visible slowdown in a trailer with the frame rate doesn't get my hopes up, either.
Watch Symphogear×2
The Joe Fixit outfit doesn't look like it's gear though. Maybe some skins are just skins.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"I'm not going to bother too much with this game unless Spider-Man somehow gets announce but man, are people really that uninterested with the game?
Yes, despite all the craziness of today's world, Marvel's Avengers is, in fact, still in development. You can expect the dev team to show off the fruits of their labor in a stream from home June 24th.

I wonder if it's what they were originally going to show at E3.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"God I hope not
Man the “bring together remarkable people” line fits very well here.
Also gotta give kudos to apparently bringing in every outfit these heroes have worn.

I meant what they'll be showing off in the June stream.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Yea, that makes a lot more sense
The stream will be starting soon.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"new trailer revealing the main villain
MODOK IS READY
Also multiple gameplay trailers.
More Thor showing.
Stuff about co-op.
And a dive about the general combat.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Not much of a spoiler if the character's name in the title.
Holy shit, is that Phil as a news reporter? Can't believe it took this long for him to finally get an animated appearance.
Actually, The Super Hero Squad Show had him cameo as a photographer◊ for Iron Man, Silver Surfer, and Galactus's picture 10 years ago in "This Al Dente Earth!".
It's sort of insane how much of a deep dive that series did for the Marvel Universe.
Color me shocked to see that M.O.D.O.K will be a serious main antagonist for once in a mainstream property. A YouTube commentator made a decent point that M.O.D.O.K is usually portrayed as "Comic Relief Old Baby Who Techno Babble", which even Avengers: EMH fell victim too. Naturally, the upcoming M.O.D.O.K series will follow along those comedic lines.
The "Inhumans as X-Men substitute trend" lives on in this game, but that's probably a result of the games' development occurring when Marvel's higher-up considered pushing the idea. Not that it's a problem, as the accidental Terrogenesis being worked in as "intentional bio-incident" works with M.O.D.O.K's delusions in the plot.
Gameplay seems better than the original "A-Day" footage, with more Co-Op demonstrations, though I can't shake the possible 'repetitive combat" feeling.

Yeah, I was gonna comment on that, but you summed it up well, including why it works in this game.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah now that I think about it, I believe this games development time began around when Marvel was pushing the Inhumans.
Though I wonder if the Attlian Inhumans like Black Bolt are gonna be here.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Who knows?
I mean, even since they gave up on the Inhuman's push, the Attilan Inhumans haven't been seen anywhere. I imagine Marvel has more or less given up on them for a few centuries until people forget the forced push.
But the internet has a long memory. They won't ever forget.
One Strip! One Strip!I don't think it really matters that the rest of the push was a failure in regards to whether the royal family might appear in this game.
That kind of stuff is planned in advance & not that easily subject to change especially in a game like this.
Like by that logic they should have already changed all mention of Inhuman to Mutant & even turn Kamala into one but they haven't.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."On the other hand, the Framerate is still garbage, cmon.
Watch SymphogearDoesn't mean people won't give the characters another chance.
These characters have existed for decades and have been in many great stories.
The issue was Perlmutter pushing them because he couldn't get the Fox film rights to the X-Men.
The issue was always with Perlmutter having a tantrum, not the fictional one.
Except for Lockjaw, who is hanging out with Beta Ray Bill these days.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Yea, I personally I'm not going to give the Inhuman another shot after that BS. I still feel sorry for their fanbase.
It's sort of insane how much of a deep dive that series did for the Marvel Universe.
I'll never get over that The Super Hero Squad Show was one of the few shows that were allowed to have more than 2 superhero team.
Not to mention I still think it's sad that a kid show has more heart than today Marvel's animated shows.
Because of Perlmutter did?
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Considering the first teaser aired in Jan 2017. This game has been in the oven for awhile so the Inhumans being important probably isn’t too shocking.
35 year old white man. It's not like the game is going to suffer for having Inhumans in the game.
Because of Perlmutter did?
I like that I know who I can truly point my animosity towards to at the end of the day, but that doesn't change Marvel become more shallow over the years & how I feel the Inhuman are the symbolization of that.
Destiny. The Destiny amount. Because from what we've seen, it looks 100% like the Destiny model for gear, slapped onto the game.
The Destiny model is kinda neat because they make like a billion items that each have different effects and little lore bits taped to them.
The Destiny model is annoying because all the items are RNG-driven loot-drops with levelled stats. So your LVL 5 Vibranium Gauntlet will be THE SHIT right up until you pick up a LVL 8 Leather Bracer, and then you dump that useless vibranium shit like the wet garbage that it is.
It's a skinner-box design, emphasizing the rush you get from obtaining a COOL NEW ITEM over a more concise but meaningful set of options that gradually grows throughout the game. Each piece of gear is a disposable endorphin-boost meant to be used for five seconds and then discarded when you pick up the next disposable endorphin-boost.
Historically, the Destiny model also lends itself well to lootboxes, but SquareEnix has already confirmed that those won't be in the game.
