Crash Site of the *Extravagence*
The crash happens, too fast for the boy to know what really went on, thrown across the deck into a railing as it slams down. Cue coughing from the desk of impact as the boy begins to look around, examining the local scene trying to figure out where they were...Then around, still leaning on the railing feeling shaky from he shock of the crash and seeing that the mages were gone. "Hello..?"
His arm bleeds lightly, though nothing significant just a small few cuts from where he slammed the safety-railing.
Then passing a sharp glare to the side. "Now is not the time for this!"

"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."The Extravaganza
As he regained consciousness, Araton finds himself inside of a heap of rubble and destroyed ship. "What was that I saw just now... a vision of the afterlife? Is that were we spend our time as we wait for what comes after death? I need to ask that from the next guy...", he mumbles as he gets up, absentmindedly pushing things aside as to not get buried under the trash.

Crash Site
Captain Gideon groans and grumbles as Ashida attempts to tend to him, until he eventually bats her hands away.
"I'm...gah...fine, give me a hand here," he says, holding a hand up for her to help him to his feet, "Think I saw the...Citadel of Trees while we were going down...we must be somewhere in the Thornwood." As he speaks, Gideon sees Theodor and points him out to Ashida as well, regardless of whether she helps him up or not, "Check on that one."
The hallway Cor goes for leads a little deeper into the ship, revealing Toraq on the floor. There are some sailors around as well, stumbling to their feet.
There is a familiar pull on Araton that he would know as the call of a Figment. It comes from the east.
Crash site of the Extravaganza
Theodor is bleeding from a small wound at his head, his cloak having sustained quite a bit of damage. He is missing his staff. Light shines out of his eyes, getting stronger as he looks to the east. "Ouch my head... well, duty calls, as they say. I got a job after all."
Richard helps a few of the sailors to their feet, overhearing Gideon in the process.

Extravaganza
Lower Deck
"...Ergh..." Tor flexes his fingers, clawing at the ground slightly as he struggles to start pushing himself up from the floor. "...What...Happen? We had a crash...?" He mumbles as wincing a bit as he shifts to sitting position,
Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either.Crash Site: The Extravaganza
The boy looked around, worried he didn't know what was going on right now and nobody else was right here immediately around. He was unsure. "Is anyone there..?" He adds to his previous call, doubting, a tone of fear and worry in his voice. He will go ahead and grasp his stave with both hands, shaking a little before breathing deeply and trying to use his skills of magic; to in a manner send out a pulse, read out for the life essence of others with a weak close-range spell. Life essence was his specialty.
He wanted to find where all the mages went but he will head towards whatever source of life seems to be closest, someone is better than nobody.
I have no idea who would be closest

Cor crouches down, offering Toraq an arm to help him up, "I think so. Are you alright? We need to get out of here." "I'm as free as the dust in the solar wind.""I will have to.. this is only a scratch.", Theodor replies. "I have a duty and I will fulfill it..."
Extravaganza Crash Site
Theodore would pick up Richard's life essence nearby. At the same time, he hears him calling out as he finishes checking on the sailors around him. "We're here! Where are you?" He calls back out.
Crash Site: The Extravaganza
The young mage, Theodore immediately senses the closest life essence and immediately starts sprinting towards it. "I'm coming!" He calls back as he quickly rushes towards Richard, following his pulse's signal where to go.Richard only moments later seeing the young lad, in his mages cloak, carrying his tall, currently red-sphered stave turning a corner and rushing over with a very worried but at the same time relieved expression.
"Do you know what happened? All the university mages are gone!" He informs Richard, with a concerned voice.

"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began.""Somebody died near here. Probably in the crash. I will help its remains to carry out its last will...", Theodor says as he stands up completely, braced on his staff.

"I don't know exactly, but it seems like the magic they were using to stay in Ra'Rntal was unstable. Some of the people were turned into some sort of shadow creatures and attacked us - they're... most likely dead." Richard explains. "Can you use any healing magic? Mine is very basic, so it's not going to be enough by myself."
Crash Site: The Extravaganza
Theo gulps a little hearing the explanation, gripping his stave harder. The boy was obviously a little unsettled by that, especially that soo many might be dead.At the question the boy then slowly nods, then nods stronger again. "Yeah, I can do healing magic. It's something i'm better at." He confirms with his worried expression.

As time passes, Gideon gets the remainder of his crew and those aboard together and accounted for. Araton is right in thinking there are dead - many actually, though most of the nobility that had boarded the ship had their own contingencies in place and escaped - though there is only the one pull from the east still. Of those that are still present and surviving, it is mostly crew and lower class passengers, many of whom are in various states of disarray.
Gideon clutches his side as he walks around the ruins of his ship, pointing out anyone he sees while speaking to a subordinate who is constantly at his other side, "We need to get these people out of the Thornwood and to the Citadel for transfers home...tell them to get ahold of the Fleet's main offices for refunds, though they should be thankful they survived. And get eyes on the other ships - I will be furious...ack...if the Extravaganza was the only one to make it back." Past this point he continues on, talking to his subordinate about the various jargon that would likely come with this kind of situation.

"We should get some of the injured patched up enough to be walking. The stronger of us can carry stretchers, or the mages who can use levitation should do so..." Richard starts listing off ideas to deal with the situation, then suddenly perks up and jogs toward Gideon. "Do you know if you have any intact flares or beacons in this ship? That would probably help."

Theodor sways for a moment. "I may need some help. Minor concussion maybe? Gotta get the fragment...", he murmurs as he closes his eyes.

The boy pauses and frowns shaking his head slowly. "I don't and... I don;t know where any of the other mages were. They were out on the deck when we got attacked and the a moment later they were all gone, everyone..." He informs Richard with a rather worried tone, a slightly annoyed one as well."We should go to the injured now, if they're hurt we need to act as fast as we can." He then snaps himself out of it a bit sounding very... Mature in his tone and priorities.
"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."I sincerely hope I don't make anyone angry here, both for making a post on what seems to be a dead thread and for what I am about to say.
Almost two months ago, my mother passed after a long battke with cancer. This was already causing something of a lack of attention from me for this, but the event in and of itself (and, to a lesser degree, my lack of a working computer) has solidified my decision: I no longer have the will to run this game. I just figured I would give an explanation for my absence, and hope this in no way inconveniences anyone too horribly (we had barely gotten in, so I shouod hope this is not the case.) Still, thank you for tbe time and the chance to shsre some of my world with you.
Cor looks a bit dazed, but is more or less fine, nodding, "I'm alright. Good idea, I'll go...uh...this way." He says, heading toward the ruined hallway.
"I'm as free as the dust in the solar wind."
