Is this a Trope, or is it Trivia?
To some extent, if we are really stretching the logic of what constitutes a trope, then casting an actor with a well-known pedigree and reputation for on-screen deaths, then that does prime the audience to expect their character to die - which would qualify as conveying something narratively pertinent.
But I cannot think of any other justification for this to be a trope. And for the most part, it seems mainly like a footnote on creators pages: "this actor played a lot of characters that died".
