My favorite of the Tres Horny Boys was Taako for a while, but now it's definitely Magnus.

Also, this is pretty obvious, but shit's been kicking into high gear so hard recently and it's only going to get more wild from here on out and I love it

I think Griffin expected there to be a lot more run around focused on getting diamonds, hence the bar and the bank both having several plot hooks laid out towards grabbing quick cash. Then Taako blew right past the whole problem by bluffing like a fucking champion, which explains why we didn't get much of bank teller despite Griffin having a voice for her and everything.

My theory for The lich fight goes a few ways, mostly built on the friendly red robe fucking shit up. Magnus was probably gonna get rescued by him if no one else could, and if it'd gone real bad Cam could have come in with basically any amount of save he needed to. Aside from that there could have been a detour where Magnus help Krav, or maybe dragged his own way out again with Lich Shit. It's hard to say, but I think Arms Outstretched was worth sacrificing some DM plans Just my theory though, could be totally wrong.

That was good! I especially liked when the boys were scrambling for a cover story and doing it really badly.

I don't know about Conan but he certainly is drawn from that genre of boy detectives.

Magnus finally finally FINALLY explaining what happened before wonderland and them all planing to smuggle him into the Bo B and Avi and Carrey being INCONSOLABLE because magnus died on them and scamming Garfield one last time and holy shit THAT SCENE WITH THE POD OH MY LORD

Oh geeze oh geeze. Things are getting so dramatic, putting aside the impending apocalypse, just going through the bureau feels so tense. I was super afraid that Magnus losing most of his memories by getting his body back might erase Julia, but I don't think Griffin would be that cruel, right? He made a point of saying the memory loss wouldn't be as complete as they were assuming. And the plan on the note... while I enjoyed Taako only using the Flaming Poisoning Raging Sword of Doom as a fashion accessory even as he teetered on the brink of death, if ever there was a reason to bring it out now is the time.

Speculation: So if Loop was the red robe corpse they got the Umbra Staff from, that could mean it's another relic she recovered because we all know the final relic will turn out to have been inside them all along. Although I think Barry would have mentioned that so maybe it's just her wand.

So much tension, so much BUILD. It's all coming together and I am not prepared.

Also, prevailing theory about Lup is that it's short for Chalupa, and is someone related to Taako

Also when the noise starts, Carey, Killian and Noelle are going to feel so betrayed and I'm not really 100% ready for that to be honest.

Also it seems the Director might really be the Big Bad everyone on reddit apparently has been suspecting. Which is also in its own way a thing that I'm not really 100% prepared for.

Additionally, did anyone else ever read that Potterdammerung tongue in cheek synopsis of Deathly Hallows? This one? Because ctrl-f 'many miles away' for what I immediately thought of when Taako pulled one on Garfield again.

So what do we all know as endgame slowly trundles into view?

Magnus and probably Taako and Merle were all Red Robes. Magnus and Barry Bluejeans at least were from another world and were buddies. Loop was another Red Robe, implied dead and gone, and Taako has her umbrastaff. Thats why it burned the letters "L U P" into the wall during Taako's magic lesson with Angus. It also does not like Kravitz. The Grand Relics were created by the Red Robes out of an ancient god. Despite initial exposition, it seems that the Red Robes tried to distribute the Grand Relics around the world. Some bad shit is going down in the planes with some big black cloud encompassing everything. Which may or may not be the true nature of man - 'the want, the hunger. It consumes everything it touches. It can't be stopped or changed. It is the end of everything.' There's going to be a big decision in the future, according to actual fate destiny time goddess Istus. The Red Robes traveled to this world on a silvery ship that the Director of the BOB may or may not have. There is another void fish, possibly in use by the Red Robes? The thing that happened at the carnival was probably the dark cloud scoping a peeps at the BOB. There's also the creepy things Taako sees when he Blinks.

I think you covered all of it. Now there's just... seeing what actually happens, and what actually happened. I ain't even READY.

In the meantime... what's everyone's favorite arc? I think mine has to be 11th Hour, the atmosphere and NP Cs were top notch.

Now I'm guessing maybe Loop is possessing the Umbra Staff and that's why it seems to have a mind of its own and dislikes Kravitz the litch hunter. And I think the creepy things in the ethereal plane might be inhabitants of the invading hunger plane, since more and more started appearing as shit got realer.

My favorite arc is also the 11th Hour, though I have a soft spot for Murder on the Rockport Limited.

My second favorite is Crystal Kingdom and that is mainly due to the music.

But also because things started getting realer, the Tres Horny Boys were jostled somewhat out of their devil may care, the environment of a basically space lab with its experiments and exhibits malfunctioning and taken over by crystal-9 from outer space, and just because of all the good NPCs

Merle losing his hand got shit pretty real pretty quick. Crystal Kingdom is a pretty fantastic arc. Also, Petals to the Metal had that insanely awesome race in it.
