Why is it ending again?

The show is not perfect, but it's still got so much potential.

Ultimate got a chance to Grow the Beard (one that many would say it didn't deserve), yet this show is smacked down before it can try. Why?

Because Disney got the film rights for two of the franchises Fox owned for a long time back, and they might as well shove money into shows starring those characters at some point.

Either that, or Thanos' finger snap didn't just kill trillions of people, but also the Marvel Animated Universe too.

Neither. It's because the Marvel Animation Studio is closing down. Allegedly.

I thought it was just being restructured.

Nonetheless, it'll be a bit sad to see Marvel's go, warts and all.

So, how long before they make another Spidey Tv show?

About two weeks, and it'll be done with paper cutouts instead of traditional animation.

Glad to see they evidently aren't doing that one thing I hate.

(It's one of my pet peeves in anything relating to possession or body swapping.)

After watching Into the Spider-Verse, i wish they would have used the Aaron Davis Prowler on this show.

I do find it strange because it's the version that's appeared in two movies and they could've used to focus on Miles. Oh well

Yeah, i wish they would have included one of Miles' villains.

Though admittedly he doesn't have that many.

I guess they want Miles around but don't want him to steal spotlight from Peter. I don't think we even see him Mom :p

Yeah, it's kind of annoying how the show goes out of its way to NOT develop Miles when it gets the chance.

You I've seen folks on the Internet talk about how this was great year to be a Spider-Man fan but know one ever mentions this show. Goes to show how easy it is to ignore Marvel animation these days. This show is OK tbh. Hell maybe it'll get a season 3( 2 isn't even done).

Will admit if this is the end. I wouldn't mind a new Spider-Man cartoon following a different alt Spider-Man

This interview seems to be for the premiere of season two in another country (I'm guessing in Latin America). If so, then we already got the Stan Lee cameo in the last episode before break.

According to the New York Times, Sony are considering making new Spider-Man animated shows following the success of the Spider-Verse movie. No telling how they'll get around this unless those rumors of Marvel Animation closing down are true and Disney are thinking of leashing the TV license to Sony.

I mean that would be a strong reason to cancel this show because in addition to be a direct tie in to a very well received movie, it would be a strong carrot for keeping Tom Holland in the MCU. Basically, we'll give you the TV rights for X-time in exchange for allowing Spider-Man to appear in Y-more MCU movies.

They also might do it so they can make a show with a more traditional/movie-like Miles than the one that shows up here.
